Thursday once again! A day closer to the weekend.. yeah! So today I talked a bit about being prepared.. from the mundane, everyday stuff to the more serious talk about the uncertain future. For indeed, the pandemic surely disrupted our quiet lives. A great majority of us probably were taken aback by all that has happened. What's worse is that things will never be the same again. I'm not being pessimistic. It is what it is.

Locally, things are not all that well. Although I'm sure the world's economy will be vastly affected. For us, we're definitely in a bad situation. Recession is most definitely guaranteed. The tough part will be the rebuilding, esp. of the nation. Best we could do is be prepared. Be prepared for what? I honestly don't know what future will bring. Just be awake, be vigilant. Play it by ear.

Yes, I agree! Always be prepared, whether it's for work or running errands OR the big time stuff. There's also a fine line between stocking up & hoarding. Unfortunately, there was a lot of hoarding when the Plandemic first started. T.P became a huge commodity lol. ;)

Whaaaat?? You had one nice clear day yesterday & then the rain comes back? Geez. lol But I do admit, like you, I enjoy a rainy day sometimes with a nice movie or book and some snacks. It's a cozy time to relax :)

Time flies! Imagine having done more than 100 videos 🤣😂 not for the life of me.. Before the plandemic that is. Times have changed. For now I won't worry as it's the weekend 😂🤣 still have another work day.. But I'm getting close yey!

True local weather has gone bonkers like the rest of the folks here, esp those in government. Here the hoarding was on alcohol & disinfectants. Even masks were hoarded. TP was abundant though. It was crazy. It still is 🤣😂 oh well. The trick is simply to survive daily. 😆😆

You have made some valid points in your vlog... I wouldn't agree with you that the problem is "local", and that something could be different in any case... Locked down borders, or not, the result would be the same...

The only difference are the countries that didn't have lockdown at all... But, you can't see that on TV :)

And regarding preparations, I think that that is the most important thing at this moment... The economy will sink down more, and that's for what I am preparing (as you said that you don't know for what are we preparing)... Maybe, I'm wrong, but I would like to be prepared for the time when there will be no "spare" money or food on the store shelves...

I have seen that situation in my country where I have lived, and it isn't a nice childhood memory...

Your father learned you well, we should have food for more than 1-2 days always... Like when you are going on camping... :) At least for 10-15 days of canned food... :)

I agree you always want to be as prepared as you can be for anything that the World throws at you. The government here in the States is doing no better job really, we have more cases then anywhere. Also where I live is tropical also so this time of year we get the same kind of rains and thunder storms.
