IAAC Day 91 | What Kind of an Influencer Are You?

Friday Jr!!! A day closer to the weekend and that's a wow! I truly live for the weekend!!! That's mainly 'coz I only have one day off from work a week. Harhar!

My IAAC is now on its fourth month! Amazing if you ask me. When I look back, I wouldn't have guessed I would actually like vlogging. You gotta pardon me as I get too talkative at times. LOL!

It's still noisy at work. I surprise myself that I have been putting up with all the noise. I think my mind exercise experiment is working. Hehehe.. Instead of getting pissed, I imagine absorbing the energy from the hammering and drilling activities. It powers me up at the end of the work day.

So, straight to my topic, I just want to put out this question to anyone who cares to give me an answer.. what kind of an influencer are you? What kind of role do you play? For me, influencers play a huge role, and it's not in leading their followers astray. They are people too, citizens of nations, family members, friends. They can't claim to always be apolitical or to be apathetic to what's happening around them. A line has to be drawn between playing safe and having a conviction or taking a stand. I suppose the topic came in light of recent local happenings in my country, where press freedom (not to mention individual freedom) comes under threat. If ordinary citizens could speak up, so should influencers get involved. This is my personal opinion.

That's an interesting question, Rosyel. I guess I'd consider myself a lead by example influencer which for me is sort of hands off. In other words I am doing what I do and if you want to do the same great and if not that's up to you as well. I will help if someone has a question but I won't chase after people.

Hi Lisa! Well, you can't help folks who don't want to be helped. Sad but true. I suppose I'm evolving as well, although I'm probably too noob to be an influencer at this point. LOL! Perhaps in my limited capacity, I could try to live a life that will inspire others :) An advance happy weekend to you!

Back to the topic... I liked your vlog very much... I have done a vlog lately about making questions, and it's "compatible" with your vlog... We HAVE TO speak up...

And, I remember myself 15-20 years ago when I was just keeping my head down and doing my work, without speaking my voice... Maybe, I had "something to lose" and that's why I was afraid to speak up... But, as this is changing and people have nothing to lose, we will see more and more people SPEAKING UP, and that's a good thing... Unfortunately, it's not good that we are living in crazy times, but it is what it is...

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and being an influencer in progress :)

Edit: One more thing... I think that you should SWAP words in your future titles... Instead "IAAC Day 91 | What Kind of an Influencer Are You?", do it like: "What Kind of an Influencer Are You? | IAAC Day 91"... I would say that it will work better with exposure and upvotes... ;) Just a suggestion... ;)

I like your suggestion! :D I think it's just the OC in me that wanted a certain format for my titles. But I will definitely take your suggestion into consideration. Tomorrow will be a great time to start with a new format! :) happy weekend!

Well, here I am a day later lol. Catching up on curating & I have to say I love your video. I agree with you about standing up in your own way as an influencer or Dblogger. The way I do is voicing my opinion & giving viewers the tools to empower themselves. I am not sure if it's helping but I feel it's my mission to help others in that sense. According to our government & party affiliation, I am not for any party either. We call that an Independent. For me, I base it on what is best for the people, not government. Let's face it - depending on the government is not something any of us should do. lol.I appreciate you addressing this & fwiw (for what it's worth) I consider what you have to say important ;).
