On the other side of the pier was a lot of seaweed that had washed onto the beach. Something is changing
the chemistry/biology of our ocean.

I'm glad you are well and alive @kingneptune, pollution is killing the oceans and marine life, and marine animals and plants are cornered and do not know what to do, so these phenomena happen, we have to become aware and take more care of our environment, greetings and happy day.

Great to see you alive Sire, but that ocean does not look good, it must be something that is causing all of that, I hope that they can find it and fix it, in any case the pollution of the oceans is a real problem around the world, and one that needs to be addressed, enjoy your weekend and stay safe, awesome and alive.

When we purchase products from these companies that produce these products we are in effect consenting to their continuation of the abuse. We can say no and close the pocket book and shop elsewhere.

This is so true. Our consumerism supports these companies. We should all look at procurement habits and see what we can change that would have the biggest outcome. One step at a time, if we change our spending habits, we can help change the world.

Marine pollution is a growing problem in today's world.Some species of marine life will continue to migrate, while others will be killed off. A contributing factor to this is that there'll be more plastic than fish in our oceans.Stay Alive @kingneptune

A few days ago I read a post about a similar issue from a friend from Thailand. So, looks like, waste in the Ocean is a worldwide problem, not limited to one country.

Anyway, hope that, like you, the proper authority will feel the same concern about it.

pollution is the main concern. Plastic and oil spills have messed up the sea life.
We need to take care of our oceans and marine life

Environmental pollution has been the major problem caused by humans.
We all need to train ourselves on how to manage waste i.e being able to recycle what we've already used.
