RE: Being Politically Correct is Incorrect 😶 IAAC #37

This is so true. I am not much for political correctness either, considering imho some people just look to get offended; offended to be offended :)

But it is very interesting how we can change the whole meaning of something with just our tone, body language or intent...we have a lot more power than we realize even in these subtle things.

For me, I prefer to be truthful in what I say but find a balance in between not sugar coating things but also be mindful in my approach & way of delivering a message....

This was an interesting post. Thanks for sharing with us! :) 💚

Thank you for your valuable input. :)

I get what you mean. The delivery of truth plays an important role in a situation. If you do things out of order, things you say might be interpreted in a totally different way than what it was meant to be. I make that mistake sometimes, thinking that the person I am talking to is in my head and therefore knows exactly what I mean, when I may have skipped over a few crucial details.

Yes, I have been guilty of this myself a few times lol. When I become passionate about what I am trying to get across, it sometimes comes off as angry or too blunt & that is NOT how I mean it.

But as you said, we learn & start putting things in order. Sometimes, it's by trial & error. Just hopefully we are around loved ones that will have mercy on us ha ha. :)

Lol yes, I treasure those unfortunate loved ones that understand me. 😄
And as a general rule of thumb, if I meet new people and we don't vibe or they don't get my humor/sarcasm, it just wasn't meant to be, and I move on.
