I Am Alive! 😴

Lazy day today. I took a day of leave from work to "recover" from the overwork last week and prevent a potential burnout. Basically its one of those days where you just sit in bed and do nothing but lie around and watch shows on your computer, and also reading random things on Hive of course.


I did go out to buy a few necessary things for the weekend and check some prices on sand for the yard. The recent rise in gas prices does seem to have a small effect on all other prices, and a bigger effect on prices of services that require lots of transport. But other than that, it's all good. I might need to start biking in the future though 🤣. Might then also need to evaluate if having a job is worth getting roasted daily by the sun.


Day 15 of the #IAmAliveChallenge. At day 10 I celebrated 50HP and now I have raced past 100, almost at 125. Things are going swimmingly. But it's not just about the HP gains. I am also making some quality connections along the way, and this challenge is partly responsible for that.

We all need to have a day off from adulting all of the time- it does get rather tedious... especially when you've done it for a few eayrs!

I even had half a day off yesterday where I just laid and bed and 'meditated' and it really was, since I do think so much better when I'm horizontal...and then as soon as I get up, all of those great, solid, viable, realistic, doable plans just fall out my head somewhere- somehow....

Anyway, really, adulting is sooo wayyyy overrated!

I could build you a bike with an umbrella over the top! 🤣

Suntans/sunburn is soooo overrated...
