Dealing with Anger ๐ข IAAC #46
I Am Alive! ๐ฑ
Ever have the feeling you want to break something? Or blow something up? Or run someone over with a car? Then your probably dealing with the feeling of anger. It's part of life, and the driving force behind much conflict in the world. How exactly do we deal with this though?
I've tried them all. Walking away, the silent treatment, yelling, breaking something, hitting a wall, and probably some other stuff. Only thing I haven't really tried is meditation. Something close to meditation that worked for a while was just fully avoiding conflict. When a conflicting situation arises, just say ok, and continue with what you were doing. It stops working in some practical situations, like at an office. Your boss would probably not like you just nonchalantly avoiding all conflict and would rather have you resolve it.
Another way to fight of anger is to use it as the force behind your motivation to achieve your goals. Kind of like what some people who go to the gym do. In the end we cannot live without anger, but we can deal with it in many ways, or else it will get the best of us.
How do you deal with anger?
Hello dear friend @rarej good night
I am sorry that I am experiencing this problem, I usually have this type of start, but I have the immediate solution. Every time anger takes hold of me, I remember my violent father, and he always promised that it would not be like that. That's my key to holding back anger.
I take this opportunity to wish you a wonderful night
That's an interesting reason. Thank you for sharing your own personal experience. But be sure to have an outlet for that anger. Don't keep it cropped up inside.

tokens.I got pissed off on trivial things... Like, losing 10 times in a row in Splinterlands... lol... And, then I sometime yell (don't know "at what"... lol...), close the game, and after 5 min, I'm ok...
I know that that isn't a good thing, but working on fixing it :D
It can be a good thing, as long as you have the right outlet. Letting out anger is one of our body its ways to release tension or stress.
I guess I need to prepare myself then for when I start playing Splinterlands.

Don't do it... :) I would recommend some other easier games... Like Rising Star, or CryptoBrewMaster, or dCity... they are not that stressful... :)
Thanks for the warning. ๐
I'm sticking to dCity for now. I played brewmaster for about a week and then they nerfed it into the ground, now it's just a waste of time. Don't know Rising Start though.

I love to listen to the music in such conditions... I feel relaxed ...
That's also a good way indeed, and one of my favorites, as there is a music genre for everyone.

It really depends on what it is and how deep it goes, I might get a bit frustrated sometimes when my devices don't function as I want, but that goes easily over, but for getting rid of deeper stuff the gym is really good, just get on the cardio machine and run it all off until it's gone basically, and yes it works, and long walks of about an hour or more is also great.
For me that physical outlet used to be volleyball, but Covid kind of ruined that a bit. As long as you have an outlet it's all good though. Thanks for sharing yours.
Also...
That's what she said.

tokens.I am usually the type to walk away, but if its road rage I explode, can't help the road rage. But man, I have been reading the bible and forgiveness seems to be a big deal, it is a hard thing to do, but it works, and usually the person just ends up fvking themselves without you having to do anything, not that I wish bad on people, but that bitch Karma just rolls that way.
Yeah man, forgive but never forget, so you always keep that lesson learned in the back of your mind. The bible has some good messages in it, if you know how to pick them, and that's coming from someone who's not that big on religion. Karma is truly a bitch, the universe will catch up with them eventually.

Yezir, never forget. Indeed learn the lesson so you can read the play in future situations. And that is exactly what I am realizing the bible is, peoples' experiences and the lessons they learnt ( well that is where the gems are for me).
As long as we don't take the writings of religion too literal, we should be all good. Because the literal extremists cause more problems than solutions.
