I Am Alive! 🌱

Well, the second wave is in full effect in Suriname, with the amount of active cases having gone from 50 to almost 500 in just about 2 weeks. The most likely reason for this is the increase of partying in December. So now I am fully working from home again, instead of just 3 days a week. But enough negativity. Let's poke a bit of fun at the virus.

First we have the updated 2021 apocalypse schedule. The alien takeover in December is a given. What else will happen this year?

Schedule aside, how the hell has almost a full year past already. The first few months were a drag and then suddenly everything went by extremely fast.

A lot of funny stuffs here. Hilarious. However, the meme about tracking us via vaccine is true for many stupid people out there.

The last picture refers to the beginning of the pandemic when people (especially in the USA) were mass buying toilet paper in their stupid panic mode. 😅

Thanks for posting those! We have a surge in cases where I live too. Just thankful that we don't have to go out anywhere. My husband had to have a COVID test yesterday because he is getting surgery tomorrow. It is negative. No surprise. But still nice to know for sure. Stay safe and healthy

We don't have to go out much as well. Only for essentials that you can't store large amounts of, like bread or eggs. Other than that my freezer and storage have been ready since april last year.

Good Morning, @rarej! His surgery went very well, Thank you! Thank you also for the WINE tokens. It was a minimally invasive procedure out patient procedure so I went to pick him up at 4 yesterday afternoon. It's great to have everything we need right at home. Enjoy your weekend.😀

Great too see you alive and well @rarej, and thanks a lot for taking the edge off the virus, and that last about the toilet papers lol, I heard quite a bit about that craze, stores here in Europe had to limit how many you could buy too, though I have a feeling the people in that bunker don't need that much toilet paper if they have no food with them, thanks for the laugh and stay safe, awesome and alive.

Thanks @flaxz. I still remember my cousin from Nederland sending me short videos from the chaos in the stores. I laughed back then, and I will continue on laughing at all the ridiculous things happening around. It's definitely better than stressing about it.

I guess I’m also a legend. I’ve been posting memes a lot. Heard there was a rush for toilet rolls, and they forgot food. What will they pass out whiles they are hungry. Stay safe in the mutations and hopefully, the numbers will come down soon. Take care.

Realistically the numbers will probably increase for the coming weeks, but I am doing my best to stay safe and not go out unless completely necessary.
Hopefully one day we can drink a !BEER as legends.

Even in natural life before all this other stuff came to be there's always something to be stressed about but always something to be happy about I love things that make me laugh spontaneously without thinking also love things like movies and TVs TV shows that aren't based on reality even if they're considered dark because they're not based on reality and I watch humorous videos a lot on my free time have an awesome weekend

I drive all across the country being a trucker. I have not seen anyone sick. I only HEAR about them. I hate the masks and don't use them if I don't have to.

While I know that I personally have a strong immune system and no underlying conditions, meaning I would most likely survive the virus, I would rather inconvenience myself for a bit with a mask to potentially protect my parents and other elderly people around me, than not wear it because I "hate" it. That would just be selfish on my part.

The first thing people started hoarding was toilet paper. As if you cannot keep your a*** clean without it.

Covid Aunty is making havoc here too.
No fun in england too. Nation wide lockdown.
I have been working from home since march 2020.
For some time it was relaxed, but the variant has messed it up.

What kind of lockdown are you in? Is it a full lockdown?

I have been working from home since march 2020

Me too, almost a year now. Absurd for sure. I never would have thought that last year january.

Yes, Its a national lockdown.
We were on level 4, moved to 5 now

When i wanted to work from home, it was difficult. Lots of questions from superiors on why?
Now that i am working from home, i am so fed up, so i sometimes go to office :-)

Lol. It's quite funny how a lot of employers have suddenly seen the benefits and efficiency of working from home, when most were hesitant before the virus.
