I Am Alive -Day 48 - Freewriting

I was having a hard time...

deciding what to talk about in my iamalivechallenge video today when I happened to read @robwillmann post about support each other 'june-6-2020-let-s-encourage-one-another'. In that post, he discusses finding Freewriters community on the Hive. I had no idea what Freewriting was so I had to check it out.

Freewriting is writing for a set period of time without stopping or making any corrections. You are given a prompt which may be a word, a phrase, a sentence to use in what you are going to write. I was "lucky" enough" to start this on a weekend. I was lucky because on the weekend they do 3 part freewriting, not just 1. In multi-part freewriting, you are not allowed to look at the upcoming prompts. You have to finish #1 before you learn what #2 is and finish #2 before seeing #3. Whatever your writing has to flow from 1 to 2 to 3.

I could not resist.

I had to try it. My 3 prompts were

1. But then the thought crept back again of her spreading apart on the floor the way she had....
2. "You're not cruel, John. Are you?"
3. cold hands

For each prompt, I had 5 minutes, no stopping, no corrects. If you are interested here is the link to what I wrote.

This definitely helps me with my goals. Since this is in another community an written with PeakD, I should be increasing my HP tokens, engaging with new people and improving my writing skills. Also, I am starting a new tag #expandingmyscope for people to use when the go outside the #clicktrackprofit community. I am in no way giving up my #ctp activities juse expanding my scope.
