I Am Alive Day - Customer Avatar
72 days I have been actively participating in the #iamalivechallenge. Today I was learning about effective marketing. The thing that had the biggest impact on me was creating a customer avatar.
I had heard about customer avatars before but obviously ignored it. What go to me was when they said, "if you try marketing to everyone, you are actually marketing to no one." I had never thought about if before but that made perfect sense. Meet Fred, my customer avatar.
Over the next few days I will tell you all about Fred. For now, just know Fred is 45-65 years old. He is married with 2 kids, one in college. He has a good job but money is tight. He could use some extra cash and would love to work from home but understands that will take some time, not happen over night.
That is Fred in a nutshell. Over the next few days, I will tell you more about Fred as he evolves.
