This was how I spent the last day of the month of May 2021. I tried to sleep at 1 am but I just couldn't sleep because of so many thoughts. I think I slept at around 1:30 am. When I woke up I was kinda sluggish. Knowing that it's a Monday again and it's the start of the week. I got ready and finished writing my blog. Apparently, I didn't notice the time and I left at around 7:45 am. I was kinda worried that I would be late so I was rushing to go to my workplace. As I was driving, there were a lot of parts that were really traffic and I said to myself I'm not going to make it. I kept on checking the time. When I parked the car, it was around 7:58 already. I had to walk really fast going to my workplace, I had to pass through the triage before timing in. As soon as I reached the screen I timed in at 8:01 am. I was at the last day of May and I just had to accept it.

After that, I went down to our department placed my bag on the table, and spoke with one of my colleagues in a room. He didn't have a patient and we were just talking about crypto. He was actually talking about axie infinity and asking me if I wanted to start. I told him that I would think about it first. But I'm also tempted to start, my only problem is that I'm going to be taking an exam soon. So if I start right now, I might not be able to concentrate on reviewing. After speaking with him, I went to the front desk where the computer is located, I went through the medsys app to see if our patients from last week were still there and there were 3 more.

We were just patiently waiting for our doctor to endorse all our patients. While waiting one of my colleagues called me and asked if I wanted to play pusoy dos while waiting, so I played and I lost both rounds. After that our doctor came. When we approached her, I saw that she pulled out a new chart and started writing on it and in my mind "Oh no, a new referral". Our doctor endorsed all the patients to us and told us to treat one of them in the afternoon.

Me and my colleague started getting ready. We had another patient who needed a lot of equipment. We then went to patient 1, he is actually the patient who was using a lot of equipment during his session. As we entered his room, he asked us to move his treatment to a later time so that he could eat. The watcher was actually suggesting that he gets treated at 12pm but we said that it was our lunch break. So we decided 11 am instead. We left most of the equipment there and went to the other building.

We went to patient 2, our patient was still in the ICU. he's our new patient. When we entered the room he was asleep, we had to wake him up. We were asking him questions but he wasn't as responsive, we don't know if he doesn't understand us or he's just really lazy. Our patient was really strong, he may have suffered from a stroke but when we were assessing his strength he only had some deficits on his upper extremity. We had to make him long sit and then we also did some range exercises. His only problem was his Vital Signs, it was kinda high, but we were treating him within the range of what our doctor gave us.

After the treatment we went to the next patient, we thought that this patient would get discharged during the weekend but they were still there. We asked the wife how our patient was and asked if she was still performing the exercises that we taught her and she said yes and she has been doing it faithfully. We also gave her some tips to do Backrest elevation so if ever they want to go back to their province he won't have a problem sitting. The problem with this patient is that he is really lazy.

It was around 10:20 when we finished treating our patient, so instead of waiting upstairs, we decided to go back to our department. While we were waiting for the 11 I was just busy scrolling through my phone, I also paid for my upcoming exam. My only problem is that I'm just waiting for the scheduling. I hope that I'll be able to schedule the exam next week.

It hit 11 so we went up again to patient 1. When we entered his room he wasn't in the mood. We don't know why. He said that he lacked sleep but when we asked his watcher, the watcher said that he has been sleeping all night. Usually, our patient is really loud and he makes a lot of jokes but he was acting differently during our treatment. We tried to make him stand and he was able to do it but he had problems lifting his other foot. He was a lot weak than the last time we saw him. We were only able to make him sit and stand. We were no able to make him walk. While he was standing he said that he wanted to poop and his watcher was like go ahead, you are using a diaper. And we smelled it, though we were not sure if it was a fart or poop. We then transferred him back to his bed and continued using the other modalities. It was his last day there because he's cleared for discharge after treatment after the treatment session.

After that, we went down and disinfected, and then we ate lunch. After lunch, I was just staying by the couch resting and reviewing at the same time. I was waiting for my colleague to finish treating her Outpatient before going back up for our last patient. My colleague told me that she called upstairs and said that the patient wanted to get treated the following day. So we were really happy. I was just reviewing most of the time. Before going home we played another round of pusoy dos, I lost the first and second but won the last round before leaving. I then headed home.

When I got home I disinfected it after that, I ate a snack then dinner. I was having problems with our internet connection it was really slow and then suddenly it just gave up on us wherein we had no internet at all. We had to call the hotline of PLDT trying to resolve the issue but nothing was happening so I really think that there's something wrong with the hardware. I really hope that they replace it soon. WIFI without an internet connection is useless. Right now, we are just using the internet of our grandparents. I hope that you guys ended your month right.
