#aliveandthriving - Are you stepping up your game?

Credit where credit is due: CTP tribe and @flaxz among many.

Most of you know that I am an avid fan of @jongolson , @blainjones , and @elianaicgomes

The ClickTrackProfit crew is stupendous, and their support and effort is world-class.

One of the best parts about being part of the CTP tribe is the relationships and teamwork that occurs. I've recently had the pleasure of working with Erik Gustafsson (@flaxz) and we're working on the #alive ebook together. This came about because I saw him contributing to the CTP tribe. I looked into the ALIVE tribe, and liked what I saw (positivity, engagement, effort, etc.)

For those of you from other tribes, @jongolson preaches that we support one another. In this case, I want to lift up @flaxz. We are working on producing a better #alive book, and Erik covers a good deal of that here:

It has however dawned on me that it is just complicating things to split it up, and that it is much better to include the #IAmAliveChallenge, the #LukeIsAlive contest and also #AliveAndThriving in the same ebook, and name it Alive And Thriving, while at the same time strive to make it very simple and easy to start with everything.

I agree.

I think that the best method is to reduce and get the e-book as simple as possible.

You can always have separate pages\funnels\etc. that come OUT of the ebook. As long as we present a unified message, the tribe will thrive.

I like that Erik calls out his vision for the tribe and token. Good deal.

That makes me want to support the tribe even more. :)

Support your Tribe's Token

Many of the efforts on the Hive blockchain involve a lot of effort, setup, and discipline to keep things running smoothly. Erik does all of these things well. He keeps the tribe moving onward and upward.

Because of this, I like supporting a tribe's token especially if I can see the use case. IE: I can use my enthusiasm for my tribe(s) as a way to generate tokens and give back to the same community\tribe.

Since I support the Alive crew, I also purchased a bulk of the original miners, and have been earning nice mining rewards daily. It will take a while to earn back the investment, but at this point, I am doing this because I support the idea, the project, and most importantly the people.

Buying and selling tokens in your community also provides liquidity and movement to the market. That's a good thing too.

50 More ALIVEM Miners? Count me in!

In an effort to support the #aliveandthriving effort that has just started, I purchased 50 additional ALIVEM miners, and staked them. That makes 309 miners. Nice.

I enjoy getting regular payouts in Alive, both mining and rewards when I do post.

@jongolson and I have discussed dollar cost averaging before on one of his live streams. I purchase tokens and miners in tribes I believe in. I buy\earn tokens then stake and hold for long term investment. I do this regularly and document the price while doing so. That way I calculate my long-term investment percentages on earnings.

In this case, buying more of the miners cements my holdings and percentage of miners owned (and thereby the percentage of rewards earned on payout.)

Since I stake the tokens I earn as reward, and then upvote the community posts with the account, it adds value to my upvotes and more value to the community the more I do this. Right now a 100% upvote by @threesteps is above 4.8 Alive per vote and growing.

Staking the payout to increase the ALIVE tribe value

While I can sell some of the tokens, and may in the future, for now I am aggressively staking the rewards from mining and posts.

As of right now, with my current staking, I am 12th on the richlist for ALIVE. Not to bad.

@jlufer comes in at number 1 with a nice 53K. That's nearly 8x my current holdings. What's great is that he's friendly and posts a ton of comments on here. He's a true giver.

My short-term goal: sell 'n stake

I say sell and stake because I was talking to @flaxz about this, and I had some other tribe's tokens that I received that I don't really see a use case for, or I don't use. I sold these misc holdings and bought 3 more miners. :D

Then I stake the miners. It's a win-win. It allows me to take my earnings from tribes I don't use, and convert it into miners for tribes I do care about.

Long term goals: stake and curate

Staking what I earn my account @threesteps grows in value. I use this account to upvote ALIVE posts. By doing this, I earn a percentage of the upvote. I stake this too. It's a beautiful thing.

By staking, holding, and promoting my posts with the #aliveandthriving tag, I'll be able to increase the worth of other's comments and posts by upvoting, as well and continuously increasing the account value itself.

I wrote this post as a way to encourage those of us on the blockchain to support our local tribes (in this case, the #alive tribe) and foster thoughts on how to promote a tribe on here.

Given that nearly all of you who will read this will belong to the Alive tribe by using the #alive tag and posting about your challenge, I would love to hear your thoughts on how to take this to the next level.

Me? Easy:

• Buy miners. Stake em.
• Post good content with the tribe's tags. Earn tokens.
• Stake both miner rewards and post earnings.
• Curate other content with a more poweful ALIVE power. :)

Set that process on repeat. Grow a mega account by being persistent and staking it all.
