Vivo en una ¨ciudad¨: donde el clima es casi tropical, los calores suelen ser muy intensos. La caminata de hoy fue muy agotadora, en esta zona estamos en verano y las temperaturas son muy altas, cuando se camina con un clima así, hay que hidratarse muy bien para no sufrir una descompensación. Algo que admiro de los animales es su percepción, ellos saben cuándo estar bajo del sol pastando, o cuando es el momento de estar tranquilos bajo las sombras de los árboles, hoy era para estar caminando bajo las sombras de los árboles y disfrutar de la naturaleza

I live in a ¨ciudad¨: Where the climate is almost tropical, the heat is usually very intense. En las cinco hectáreas que tiene el predio, hay muchas variedades de árboles, uno que abunda es la especie que aquí llamamos ¨Ceibo¨:  lo que me gusta de esta especie de árbol en la capacidad de albergar en sus cortezas a otras especies de plantas, algunos llamas a estas especies¨plantas¨¨parasitos¨: no creo que sea el termino correcto, a mí me gusta pensar que ellas conviven en armonía, se adaptan y se apoyan unas a otras

I love walking through these paths covered with trees, these giants provide beautiful shadows, and being under them, one is protected from "sunstroke". In the five hectares that the property has, there are many varieties of trees, one that abounds is the species that we call here ¨ Ceibo¨:  what I like about this species of tree is the ability to house other plant species in its bark, some call these species¨plantas¨¨parasitos¨: I don't think it is the correct term, I like to think that they they coexist in harmony, adapt and support each other


Esto fue más allá de una caminata normal, fue un día de exploración del entorno natural donde siempre camino. En esta exploración halle cosas hermosas, me encanto ver el equilibrio de vida entre los árboles y las otras variedades de plantas. Si de cosas naturales hermosas se trata, los ¨conos¨ de ¨pino¨ es un especial atractivo, debo de admitir que he visto ciento de veces esta planta, pero nunca me puse a indagar de que variedad de pino se trata, resulto ser una especie llamada ¨Platycladus¨¨orientalis¨, en algunos países se lo conoce como el árbol de la vida:  Los pinos siempre me llamaron mi atención, son arboles muy bonito, pero esta especie sin dudas es la más hermosa

This was beyond a normal walk, it was a day of exploring the natural environment where I always walk. I have always wanted to plant a pine tree in the back of my house, but first I must plan the space very well, since it is a plant of great growth. Now I know where I can buy it, I just have to plan how it will grow and where to place it so that it doesn't cause problems once it's developed. This has been another great hike, I love spending time close to nature and taking shots with our ¨nikoncoolpixb500¨ camera

Undergrowth in your region looks very similar to ours, being under shaded tree cover with slightest breeze is cooling. Keeping hydrated is of utmost importance during these extreme summers.

Que bonito, imagino que haya mucha tranquilidad en el sitio donde vives. Tu caminata debe ser muy relajante.
Donde yo vivo ahora es invierno, pero igual se siente bastante el calor, muy poco frio en esta epoca.

How funny to read about the heat and see tropical greenery when there is snow outside the window... I love this challenge for such instant impressions.
