Lights, Camera, Coffee (Weekend Freewrite - 01/04/2020)

Prompt First Sentence: I had to hand it to him. As a speaker, Andy was stunning...

It was a shame this was only one of the few times he had the limelight to himself, since most of the time he worked behind his camera.

Alexa sighed dreamily as she watched Andy mesmerize the small studio's audience with his photography skills. It may have been hard work that got her a stable contract with Eton Central, but she couldn't help but thank her lucky stars as well for being able to work with a guy like Andy.

As if hearing her thoughts, Andy looked around the audience and seemingly made eye contact with her. Time seemed to have stopped and Alexa couldn't find it in her to look away, though that's when she felt someone nudging her side.

Tearing her eyes away from the man of her dreams, she couldn't help but look back at Kelly with an annoyed looked on her face. Before she could open her mouth, Kelly beat her to it by saying, "You're up!"

"Up for what?" Alexa was now confused. "Not 'what', you're up next!" Kelly rolled her eyes as she said this like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Wait what-" Alexa stopped short of her question as she noticed Andy (a.k.a. stunning, hot photographer) still staring at her expectantly; and was he smirking at her??

"Would you care to give us a demonstration, Miss Drumont?" Alexa felt her cheeks redden like the shade of her hair, now she was the one who had the small studio's attention.





Prompt 2
"This is the big test I am supposed to pass?"

"Relax, it's not a test. But if it was, I'm sure you'll be passing with flying colors." Andy smiled gently at her in assurance.

Alexa sheepishly looked up at him as she stared at his deep chocolate eyes, she had to keep herself from sighing out loud in front of him. God this man was electrifying, and she was just staring at him, what more if they touched?

She awkwardly looked away and began, "So... how do you want me?" then scrambled to change her question as she realized her wordings, "Uh. I meant, what pose did you have in mind?" She almost squeaked. God what was happening to her???

Andy however was trying to contain his laughter as he positioned his camera in front of him, though Alexa thought she heard him mutter something along the lines of "You're perfect the way you are."

But maybe that was just her imagination playing tricks on her.





Prompt 3
her sweat trickled down her neck

As Alexa made her way out of the studio, who knew all those lights and Andy's intense stares would get to her.

She was already out the hallways and decided to look for Kelly when she heard her name being called, turning around she saw Andy catching up with her.

"Alexa! Do you have any place to be at the moment?" Andy had asked her as he ruffled a hand through his raven hair almost in sheepishly.

"Not really...?" Alexa wasn't even sure why she made it sound like more of a question. "I wanted to apologize. For putting you in the spotlight back there. Having you with me on stage just made me feel more at ease so.. I'm really sorry."

Stunning Andy almost actually gushed at her! Alexa couldn't help but stare at him in awe. "Do you wanna grab some coffee or something? My treat, since I do owe you one back there." Andy asked grinning at her earnestly.

Now how could she say no to that?
