Prompt First Sentence: I gritted my teeth and said nothing.

The farm girl was slowly heading farther away, but he wouldn't dare try to catch his daughter's attention for fear that their target would spot them hiding amidst the field of fruit.

Oh well, he just had to hand this to Fiona and see how she'll "slither" her way in; their kind was more vulnerable in this state, if left without a host for long they'd wither up and die.

So first, he had to give his daughter a helping hand, by making sure that farm girl fell right into his trap.

Prompt 2
Suddenly, the heater kicked in with a loud rumbling noise cutting through the silence.

He crept slowly amidst the shadows of the small warehouse, the smell of fruit was stronger here, mostly sweet like it was close to decay.

Flicking his tongue out to sense for any signs of life, he suddenly heard a thud and whipped his head around towards the noise.

There, he saw something struggling and slithering around a prone form.

Prompt 3
a child screamed

loud and long until there was only silence. Derek was glad he picked an isolated area or some nosy neighbors might have seen this gruesome yet fascinating metamorphosis.

Slowly, he stepped closer to the body that now housed his daughter. Her face may have been that of the farm girl, but the eyes that blinked up at him were undoubtedly that of Fiona; light-green eyes glowed with a haughty sense of pride as if saying that she did it all on her own. Yeah right.

Crouching down beside her, Derek affectionately asked her, "How're you feeling, snookums?"

Fiona wrinkled her nose in disgust at the pet name but soon couldn't help the grin forming on her face as she replied, "Just peachy, dad."
