You've Still Got A Lot (Weekend Freewrite - 03/28/2020)

Prompt First Sentence: I am not a good enough grownup to wear white

Heck, I don't think I've even grown out of my scrubs yet, but duty calls and I must follow.

These hallways never buzzed with this much activity, but the last couple of weeks have been really trying; cases continue to rise and the number of deaths haven't been dwindling in the least.

It's odd though how no one seems to mind me... Oh well, I guess I can make a quick stop at my office before continuing with my usual rounds.

Prompt 2
Louise picked up the knocked over chair.

She continued cleaning the room of its belongings, but with a trembling voice, she couldn't help but voice out her thoughts in the small empty room, "It happened too fast, she wasn't even a resident here for that long..."

Louise let her tears blur her vision; she didn't dare wipe them away for fear of exposing herself despite the protective gear that she wore.

Prompt 3
a tear dropped

Dr. Lovegood never really thought ghosts could cry, but here she was now, staring forlornly at Louise, who she happened to befriend in her brief stay here as a resident doctor.

Suddenly the room started to disappear right before her eyes, she had one last detour before moving on.

Wailing could be heard in this room as the new born baby was handed to the mother, "A precious baby girl, what will you name her?" She heard the nurse ask.

The mother cradled the baby close to her as she stared at her child adoringly, "Dr. Lovegood... she was always available for my checkups here... What was her first name again?"

Although shocked, the nurse managed to reply back, "Hope, ma'am. Dr. Hope Lovegood."

Sharing a small smile with her baby, who was now quiet and staring at her in wonder, she murmured, "Yes, Hope. That's a beautiful name."
