I hear you. Always drama, always changes. But that is life. Change is a constant. I think for most, Steem is one tool, or one outlet. Some, like you and I, have invested a lot of time into this platform and it would be nice if we can hold on to the Steem value or if it increases. If not, we will survive.
Some live off what they are doing here and they will be in bad shape if Steem tanks...

See that is just it, in a way the platform seems to suck yea in. Through everything that it does is constant turmoil and a push for action. Looking at results of those actions seems to be opposite result of what we are all intending to work towards. So what have we been really working on? Investing into the platform itself or investing into the people whom create on the platform? I’d suspect you would agree the people 😉 yet in ways some of these “calls to action” could be perceived as a play upon all of our emotions based off human nature to resist change and many’s inability to resist drama, myself included. It’s all about the people if you ask me and right now it could go either way on what was best for the people as what’s playing out really isn’t.
Not trying to argue, I agree actually just trying to push my perspective back a bit...
I get you. And yes, the people are the real value of the platform. but that can go away too. People stop posting and we kind of drift away from each other. but that kind of thing happens in RL too.
For me, I certainly haven't been very successful here as far as money is concerned. A lot of that has to do that I stayed very focused with the freewriters and most of them are newbies with no voting power and most of them move on once they have some meat to their vote.
We have had a bit of drama since one person, in particular, is hating on us who has a very influential person on their side. I just decided to ignore it and carry on and be happy with what we have - and at times, just carry on and not walk away because I put so much time into it.
I don't know what all went down for you, but I know that there was a lot of BS going on and I feel that you got the raw end of the stick there. Again, don't know what all went down.
But I know that I really enjoy having met you here and that is one reason that I hope this platform is not just going away like so many before it...

Just me voicing opinions 😅 some realizations... I have too been that stepping stone and much like yourself have watched many move on to bigger and better things yet the few that continue to fall through the cracks remained my focus... people like @kawaiicrush whom I helped push into the spotlight only to watch her get suppressed for having a voice then her daughter used out of context to distort the situation 🤦♂️
I have said since the beginning I am a loyalist but what I have neglected to mention is I cannot be loyal to a negative culture.... the further I step back the more I can see how much manipulation(something I also freewrote on) happens in the name of the benefit of all and I have even participated on many occasions 🤔 guilty on that I am.
What I’m getting at is a mild separation of my journey from that platform and having a hard time seeing how this may be meant as my destination seeing as I’m video oriented. Not planning on going anywhere but I’m starting to really understand why so many do.
