Why did the stocks and cryptocurrency markets fall on 3rd September 2020?

There was a serios fall on the stocks and cryptocurrency markets at the same time on 3rd of September 2020. While on 4th of September (at least so far) this wasn't accelerated more, a question comes to mind...
