[ESP-ENG] Blogging Challenge Second Part - Day 14, Which languages do you speak?

Hola a todos, hoy es mi día 14 de la segunda parte del #BloggingChallenge, y la pregunta de hoy me pareció demasiado simple, por eso le doy respuesta y le agregare cual idioma en mi parecer es necesario para enfrentar al mundo entero.

Hello everyone, today is my 14th day of the second part of the #BloggingChallenge, and today's question seemed too simple, so I give you an answer and I will add which language in my opinion is necessary to face the whole world.

Soy una persona hispanohablante nativa, lo que significa que solo hablo el español desde mi nacimiento aún cuando desde el colegio tenemos una asignatura llamada inglés y se debe aprobar para pasar de grado, he llegado a sentir con el pasar de los años que fue una enseñanza muy pobre, por así decirlo básica, para no ofender a los profesores de la materia.

I am a native Spanish speaker, which means that I only speak Spanish since I was born even though we have a subject called English in school and it must be passed to pass the grade, I have come to feel over the years that it was a very poor teaching, so to speak basic, so as not to offend the teachers of the subject.

Entiendo algunas cosas al leer pero no hablo el inglés ni mucho menos lo leo, solo conozco cierta cantidad de palabras, no entiendo mucho de la pronunciación, las clases que dan en los colegios ,liceos y universidades no es la adecuada, así que siempre he tenido un conocimiento muy básico y nunca he tuve un gran interés por aprenderlo.

I understand some things when I read but I don't speak English and I don't read it, I only know a certain amount of words, I don't understand much of the pronunciation, the classes they give in schools, high schools and universities are not adequate, so I have always had a very basic knowledge and I have never had a great interest in learning it.

Al salir de la universidad llegue a pensar en aprender inglés a través de unos cursos en el centro electrónico de idioma pero luego al preguntar por los precios me di cuenta que es una cuota bastante alta que no estaba a mi alcance en ese momento y tampoco era tan necesario para esa fecha, tomando en cuenta que ese curso se paga por niveles y aún si anhelara hablar un segundo idioma, por el momento no era mi prioridad.

When I left the university I thought about learning English through some courses at the electronic language center but then when I asked about the prices I realized that it is a very high fee that was not within my reach at that time and it was not so necessary for that date, taking into account that this course is paid by levels and even if I wanted to speak a second language, for the moment it was not my priority.

Se perfectamente que hablar otros idiomas, te da la ventaja de conseguir buenos empleos, porque te abre las puertas considerablemente y mejora las ofertas laborales, dominar un segundo idioma te da la ventaja por encima de otros empleados, ya que puedes destacarte con fluidez a la hora de comunicarte con personas de otros paises.

I know perfectly well that speaking other languages, gives you the advantage of getting good jobs, because it opens doors considerably and improves job offers, mastering a second language gives you the advantage over other employees, because you can stand out fluently when communicating with people from other countries.

Una persona bilingüe se puede adaptar a diferentes situaciones y mantiene su autoestima alta, además de mejorar culturalmente, en mi región se habla español venezolano, español colombiano y el idioma wayú, porque vivo en el estado Zulia que tiene frontera con Colombia y tenemos cerca la región guajira dónde hay wayú Colombiano y venezolano .

A bilingual person can adapt to different situations and keeps his self-esteem high, besides improving culturally, in my region we speak Venezuelan Spanish, Colombian Spanish and the Wayú language, because I live in the state of Zulia which has a border with Colombia and we have near the Guajira region where there are Colombian and Venezuelan Wayú.

por eso quisiera tener la oportunidad de que mi hijo aprenda el inglés desde pequeño, quizás el tenga otras proyecciones en su vida y si le interese aprender otro idioma, lo motivo día a día a través de las caricaturas que ve. El lenguaje español esta en la tercera posición de la lengua más hablada del mundo por el número de hispanohablantes, pero se que el inglés es mucho más importante y he podido darme cuenta ahora, que uso traductores para poder tener acceso a la información que se coloca en esta y muchas otras plataformas, porque entiendo poco, pero casi siempre me toca traducir, tomando en cuenta todo esto, puedo llegar a la conclusión de que todo ese esfuerzo intentando aprender sobre un idioma en materias escolares se reduce a nada de aprendizaje.

That is why I would like to have the opportunity for my son to learn English from an early age, maybe he will have other projections in his life and if he is interested in learning another language, I motivate him day by day through the cartoons he sees. The Spanish language is in the third position of the most spoken language in the world by the number of Spanish speakers, but I know that English is much more important and I have been able to realize now, that I use translators to access the information that is placed on this and many other platforms, because I understand little, but almost always I have to translate, taking into account all this, I can conclude that all that effort trying to learn about a language in school subjects is reduced to nothing learning.

Y de tener la oportunidad y poder, me encantaría aprender Ingles, tomando en cuenta todo lo expresado anteriormente, se resume en el simple hecho que aprender este idioma me permitirá ampliar mis areas de conocimientos y accesos a las informaciones provenientes de otros lugares, por eso creo que este idioma es fundamental para crecer totalmente en esta sociedad, bien sea aspirando mejores puestos laborales o queriendo migrar a otros paises, ya con ese conocimiento las puertas se abrirían por si solas.

And if I have the opportunity and power, I would love to learn English, taking into account everything expressed above, it boils down to the simple fact that learning this language will allow me to expand my areas of knowledge and access to information from other places, so I think this language is essential to grow fully in this society, either aspiring to better jobs or wanting to migrate to other countries, and with that knowledge the doors would open by themselves.
