WOOHOO! Looks delicious!

Wild or Bought?

A few years ago, I picked mushrooms from one of our forests. And we ate them afterwards. Fortunately with some great help, since I dont know anything about the wild ones.

I just found the post I wrote about it :) photography/@edje/truth-or-dare-magic-or-not-amazing-wild-fungus-entered-my-life

Unfortunately I never could redo this activity, since the girl with all the experience of what can be eaten and what not, left my life.

These where wild once, but I let them check at the official office. There service is free in switzerland, you can bring youre fiunds and the deffine it exactly and you leave with a list of all the details about youre fungi, and it is free (taxpaid) .
There are grate books but experts certenly are asked for beginners to help out!
Hopefully you will be able to go on a mushroom hount again one day 🍀

Yea, don't even dare to try. In the set of mushrooms we collected a few years ago, we had to toss a few away; They looked so similar to the eatable ones, but some where not good for humans to eat. The girls mother had to help out being a super specialist in mushrooms. I'm not even dare to think I'l be able to learn this soonish or later :)

But hey! You have an official office to check upon eatable mushrooms in CH? Super! Didnt know such checkpoint was available somewhere in the world :) Not sure if we have them in NL, maybe they have, probably not. I'm gonna check for sure!

Yeah, this is a awsome service from the health department. Hopefully you can find a place as well not to fare away, as some mushrooms you wanne consume on the next day latest.
Sometimes I find huge cluster of a undeffined mushroom, if which I assume you can eat it from tge bioks I carrey, then I olny pick a few to let tge official name it for shure. A good way to tap into the mushroom world.
All the best to you, love grachten!

Did some googl-ing; Wasnt able to find anything regarding some official (or even unofficial) mushroom check team. See many articles warning about mushroom hunt for eating. Apparently some from the Polish community living in my country went crazy this autumn, ie took quite a bit of mushroom from the forrest. Back home its quite normal, they say. The girl who took me on mushroom hunt, is from Russia; Also very very normal to go on mushroom hunt in her home country. Anyways... I shall find another girl with Polish or Russian background, and I can safely eat wild mushrooms hahahaha
