What a week!

So today, for #fungifriday:

See how it all begins with the oyster mushrooms in my livingroom!
And have a dive into the eorld of bonssi snd hie it relates to #fungilovers

The set-up!

It is prewaltered
The only task was to cut a x for the fungi to start flowering
From now on walter twice a day!

Check out how nice this mycel looks!

I clumbed some off and planted it to a bonsai!
More about that in future Blogs!

In 10 days it should be ready to hearvert!

And now also some related topic I am exited about!

Bonsai Pinus Silvestris growing strong with mycel!

A symbiose not a lot of people are aware of!

In nature they grow with a lot of fungi
With the roots they connect
It is ssid that a tree gives the fungi up to 80% of its sugar reserve!
In exchange the fungi provides defense mechanisms for the roots
And it provides the abbillity to connect to a wider range into the forest
This gelps the tree for example to prepare for a certain kind of pest
As he gets noticed trough the mycel system!

Here we are in a pot, but I have noticed, the better the mycel grows, the better the pinus silvestris looks.

Sandy, I read the post with interest, despite the fact that your text consists of typos at least for 10% 8-) I was able to decipher the meaning of words and sentences!
wonderful preview of #caturday! especially liked that part, so teasing.
and your bonsai tree looks great too. I will wait for reports of growing mycelium! it is very interesting and touching, we often see the already grown bodies of mushrooms, but unfortunately it is so rare, so it is impossible to see the process of their growth. and he is very unusual, and often looks even much more beautiful than grown mushrooms. буду ждать отчетов растущего мицелия! это очень интересно и трогательно, мы часто видим уже выросшие тела грибов, но к сожалению так редко, так невозможно увидеть процесс их роста. а он очень необычен, и часто выгляждит даже намного красивее, чем выросшие грибы. ("движение - все, цель - ничто!") @sketch.and.jam выращивает сейчас грибы рейши и тоже публикует фотоотчеты - это потрясающее зрелище!

As for now, it is only a collourchange.
As soon as they start to take off, I will try to make a timelaps with the fungy growth.
But I remember we did this back in school about 15years ago, and in the begining they grew not so fast.

Looking forward to the nice oyster mushrooms :)

In switzerland the season is over as well, this weekend we will have a coldfront so it gets about 10 degres colder over the next days hahaha
Looking forward to the snow as well, love the quiet sceenes with snowfall.
