Hey @berniesanders, did you sell here?

avatar

I hope not, he had a lot of votes to give. Mainly downvotes. Anyway, with that clickbait out of the way, I hope you are well Bernie, did you see that HIVE is on a roll this week!

image.png

@hiveio, the sort of official account of the Hive blockchain, has just announced that Hive is the 2021 winner of the Most Innovative Crypto Product at the ADVFN International Financial Awards.

Go retweet + like:

https://twitter.com/advfn/status/1374360894809997318

https://twitter.com/RealGuilty/status/1374420855573286914

https://twitter.com/hiveblocks/status/1374425464563855361

And whatever else you can find!

Those of us who are not not particularly tech savvy, and I include myself in this category when I comes to blockchain technology, are at least able to compare and contrast products. When you hear of $30 fees to transfers tokens, in half an hour or so, to what Hive offers with fast and free transactions, we know the tech is up there with the best.

And then the people:

Hive was founded by a diverse group of community members, developers and investors. Contributors to Hive come from every part of the world, every walk of life, and are united by a shared common vision and love of decentralized blockchain technology and innovation. source

It is immediately obvious that there are developers, investors, and community members who could not bear to see Hive fail. Working for a pittance, throwing Bitcoin and poker winnings at HIVE while it was in freefall, and producing content daily just for the fun of it, everyone has has some part to play this past year.

Fundamentally, the project is sound. Outside of Hive, I like AVA / Travala and that is about it, but who knows when holidays will be the norm again.

The timing of the news is pretty awesome in respect to the technicals / chart action. In the top image you can see HIVE's 250 day moving average was a tall order for today, but was smashed a few hours ago. (Advfn staff buying in?)

Or the news and technicals are irrelevant, and Hive is just following another project that won nothing today :P

image.png

The charts are so closely tied at present. Same holders, same bots? In a way its good, as I see Hive a few days/weeks behind and it feels like looking into the future, and in other ways I'm constantly wondering 'why'? And swearing a lot.

Not today though, awesome news for Hive, and a well deserved hike in price, for now. I'm still hopeful of a good summer in general for crypto, and would love to be able to tell people that HIVE bought me my first car, and provided a solid deposit towards a first home.

Go Hive!

There's so much liquid hive sloshing about who knows what it is that influences the price!

Never heard of that company.

But it's nice to see a pump! It'll please EVERYONE who sells all the time!

Buyers and sellers :)

They've been around a while, I'd use them for Stocks back in the day.

I sold today, and bought back, and sold, and bought back....

Where's my !wine !

I've tried that kind of trading, I just hate it - give me Defi any day so I can just forget about it!

Hive tends to be a laggard voin for the markets, which can work in its favor as some will opt out onto other coins and then back in perhaps. At the end of the day though, I am hoping that bit by bit, those who opt out will be priced out and those who opt in will make mad gains and gave the use cases to make them want to hodl forever.

Only a ded man hodl's forever. What about the Villa, or the hookers and blow? You are not allowed to graft for 4 years and not enjoy some!

Ahh ok, I missed 'mad gainz'. Then we can have all of the above and still hold a voice in the network :)

Good thing my gf doesn't have an hive account or else you guys would get me into trouble with your "use cases" :)))

Nice reply. Winner.

I always seem to end up with blown out hookers. Or something like that...

It is awesome to see a spike!!

I suspect our Bern is here, under the radar, voting and doing the do. He wouldn't just go. Tell us Bernie! Give us a sign!!

I defo think it could be a case of the same owners and same bots for all that market movement of both chains. HIVE wins on the sheer classiness front as always! Hurrah!

A 2 mil HP downvote would do it :D

I would make sense, there was so much STEEMy on the exchanges which was then replicated with HIVE.

There's just so much going on on Hive though, the market has to wake up to this at some point?!

I sorta thought that when I was writing give me a sign, not the massive DV kind of sign!!!

There is a lot going on and with the award and the upcoming marketing maybe it is time that the roof is going to get torn off the place!

It would make me smile, although if he did if for months on end that might change :)

The corner without a roof, soon!

Love seeing it. The first of many mile stones and still lots of hard work to be done. Take a moment though and look back at everything you've done yourself to help Hive achieve this goal.

It is really great to see appreciation from outside. I wasn't even aware ADVFN were that into their crypto, but they have been around a while and should bring eyes to Hive.

Take a moment though and look back at everything you've done yourself to help Hive achieve this goal.

Thanks, but I see my part as a small one. I did invest my own money this past year, and have tried to create engaging content (most of the time), but they are some key players who have been busting ass with Hive and their own projects, and they deserve much credit.

Thanks for the click bait, I thought another epic flag war has begun, to be honest it feels good and Pretty decent nowadays.
Now back to hive, the momentum has been good, won't be bad if we see $5 before December.

Btw is bernie still around on hive? I know he was starting all sorts of drama back in the day but I have no idea what he's up to now

After giving it a decent fresh start, I don't think he is. Think he got into BTC late last year with plenty of stake though and so if he does see this he'll think, 'whatever your poor fool!'

Same holders, same bots?

If it is then how much do they have to be trading to keep moving the markets up then?

Without checking, I think there is 150m plus HIVE on exchanges, and much of that is early, mined stake.

And how could you ever get my smiling face if it weren't for Hive and Leo?

I'll probably not go back to that $30 dollar fees place anytime soon unless you want to buy my crypto kitties? Those stupid cats completely broke ETH from time to time it'd be 24 hours for paid transactions to go through.

You ought to consider the kitties. They hodl better than most...

No thanks, I have a load of them too and they are seemingly worthless. I also have 30$ of ETH on a MM account which I can't seem to move for less than 30$ :D

He's fine we are fine. He likely sold and bought a coin like btc that also went up plenty. No need to poke the bear or taunt it... there is every likelihood he did just as good or better. Its easy to make beneficial decisions in a bull market.

This is definitely true. I like that transactions only cost RCs and I think HSC is also in the works. Maybe it will have fees but very small fees.

I'm still hopeful of a good summer in general for crypto, and would love to be able to tell people that HIVE bought me my first car, and provided a solid deposit towards a first home

Make sure to post about it so everyone knows.

30$ fees on eth = 50 Hive on today's price and forever free transactions.

With smart contracts hive is the most sexy crypto product out :) and we all know it!

I've been wondering what happened to Bernie and Darthknight. Have not seen them around for ages. I don't know if I'll be enjoying the blow and hookers just yet but maybe a nice joint will suffice.

Darthknight is delegated to OCDB I think.

This is the really unfortunate part of the whole thing. It leads me to believe that the price action has nothing to do with Hive specifically. I can't wait for the day that Hive decouples from Steem (to the upside) and gains attention and investment from its own merit.

Absolutely. At present the charts are so close and continue to follow each other.

If there is any justice, or awareness of how the projects compare, surely a flippening will happen at some point.

@yabapmatt obviously that is why the HIVE seems to have slow down all these while, but i am glad that the hive is now finally finding its own voice....

Had no ideia about this! Together with Hive reaching its ATH, passing Steem... good news just keep coming! :)

PS. AVA is probably my favourite crypto project too, after Hive!

Yeah AVA looks really interesting, lets hope that when we are free to move (with all our crypto riches), they become the booking site of choice :)
