Building stuff and reaching goals
In December 2020, I took the resolution to set goals for my progression on the blockchain and I'm trying to reach them.
When I did that, I supposed that it would be a year like the previous ones, where my main focus would lie on content creation. Well I have been producing some content but I have been busy building stuff.
CTPSB growing a lot
The first big project that I have built was the @ctpsb project. Actually it started small and took more and more volume. We are passing from one record to the next and the project evolves amazingly. Some of my income was necessary to grow the market maker for this project. The bigger the project gets, the more liquidity is necessary. The tokens put in the market maker can't be used to reach my goals.
Liotes – A blockchain adventure
The @liotes project is probably the biggest thing that I have built on the hive blockchain so far. For this project, I have been teaming up with my friend @ph1102. I invested a lot of tokens into it and also a lot of working hours. However, I'm very happy with how it started and I am looking forward very much to seeing how this will grow.
Fact is however that by building such projects and developing them, other things tend to be neglected. That's why for some of my goals, I'm behind my own benchmark. I also decided to kick one of my goals out. I simply can't focus everywhere and I have very little connection with tron and that's why I won't try to reach any tron goals anymore.
My goals for 2021
It's 82 days ago that I've set the following goals:
- Hive 10'000 staked
- Leo 2'000 staked
- CTP 30'000 staked
- Dcity 5'000 Sim income per day before taxes
In terms of time, these 82 days represent 21.75% of the time frame from 19.12.20 to 31.12.21. This is my benchmark and I want to reach the same progression for each token.
I calculate the progression as follows: (token today-token at start) / (target - token at start)

Looking at these numbers
When I take into account the two big projects that I'm working on and the funds that I invested into them, then my results so far aren't too bad.
I concentrated mainly on LEO lately because I knew about the airdrops that would come and made sure to push my stake. I could already collect some CUB tokens thanks to that. I'm quite above the benchmark with LEO and also with my dcity town. Unfortunately the value of SIM has diminished quite drastically since and I've set the goals.
For my Hive Power, I'm slightly behind schedule but I think that I'm still on track. I'm a bit more disappointed for my CTP goals. I couldn't power up as much as I wanted and I will put more effort into it.

ENGAGEtokens.Good to have some metrics on your goals. Yeah you didn't do bad, you did well for those figures and it's not unlikely to see better numbers on your next update as results compound too. Your CTPSB project is underrated and people are missing out on those gains if they bought into it. It's bound to grow and proven to work over time.
Thanks a lot for your comment! What I like about the ctpsb project is that it is supported by a whole community of people. We all contributed to build it up and I think we all feel a certain attachment to it because of that :-)

ENGAGEtokens.Oh, man... I'm not running the CTPSB, but I know how it looks when you were occupied like 99% before, and you add 1 huge project on your head... That can be challenging and I'm like you... Totally lost... lol... But, you are right about routines... We have to create new ones and re-organize... It is possible, but it takes time and patience...

I think we both got out of our comfort zone here but that's a very healthy thing to do. It allows to redifine priorities and reorder our lives :-).

Thanks a lot for your feed-back. If we have these goals somewhere at the back of our mind, they will help us to keep on track. Sometimes however it's necessary to change the direction and therefore I like to keep my goals dynamic and change them if necessary.
