#AskLeo - What do you buy, CUB or LEO?
CUBs or LEOs?
Hi,
for today's #AskLeo, the # tag brought to life by @acesontop (give him a follow as he has cool personal content), I want to ask you, what do you buy, CUBs or LEOs?
Or do you prefer both or none? There is no perfect answer for this, as everyone has a different investment approach on this matter.
As I've put the question, I start first. At the moment I buy LEOs and not CUBs, even if the profit on CUBs might be much higher.
Why I do that? At the start I wanted to have a solid base on Hive and the Hive value shall be the highest, compared to the project that are spinning off of it. Now LEO with leofinance.io is a universe of its own, but still built on Hive.
As Hive is now high enough, I focus on LEO, as it is the centre of the leofinance.io world and the base of all things that have been launched and still need to come.
CUBs are on the other way, from the ROI point of view, very appealing at the moment, especially at this low prices. Here I would buy again if they drop below $3. That would be a very good ROI, where they might fly back to $4 or $5 in a few days and in the meantime are producing other little CUBs. This is how I would buy, but till then, I'm happy with my stake as I put a 4 figures sum in it. Might add more if the price is right.
Now I want to reach the 10k LEO mark till the end of July, even at the current market overview, it might seem impossible, but it needs to be done to reach the 25k LEO till December. I've noticed that it gets easier, when the stake is higher, so this little buys are just legs on the gas pedal.
So, what do you buy, CUBs or LEOs?

Neither. If I get some with my Hive blockchain activity, then I consider them as a bonus.
Do you keep them or sell them?

I keep them. I currently do not even know how much CUBs and LEOs I have.
You can check it here; https://leofinance.io/@xplosive/wallet, a little over 5 which are not powered yet. :)

I am not buying either one of them. The rewards for comments/posts on HIVE are not really considered what I would consider buying since I am not putting in any fiat.

Interesting. Did you put any fiat in crypto?

If it is outside the HIVE blockchain, then yes there is some fiat into crypto for my trading wallet. Though these are usually long time holds or trades.
Inside the HIVE blockchain, I have only spent some money on Splinterlands before I knew about HIVE. Besides that I don't really plan on inserting fiat going forward into crypto.

I would love to have a good mix of both, though I think I need to stack up more Leo to get my curation power up

LEO has the good perks. That is for sure. The curation system is real good as you get back 50% of your vote, no matter what.

It's a truly genius concept. I'm glad to be involved with it

I bought some more CUB just the other day but I think I'm buying more very soon! I'm not buying Leo atm but I'm delegating Hive to get some Leo every day, not sure if that counts 😅
Every new LEO counts, delegation, posting, etc increases the stake. Do you reinvest fully the CUBs?

I am on the same wavelength as you I think. I have been buying LEO. I think CUB is going to do well, but I would rather acquire that through other means. The Den gets me a little at a time and I think that is good for now. I know I might be missing out on the low price right now, but I think the same is true with Leo.

Here I think that both are good buys in the end. I'm focusing more on the LEO but also reinvest the CUB produced.

I just powered up a little bit of Leo so my next focus will probably be on CUB.
