Can 1+1=3?

Two people who collaborate well will be about three times as effective as each of them operating independently, because each will see what the other might miss—plus they can leverage each other’s strengths while holding each other accountable to higher standards. - Ray Dalio

I'm a very big fan of Ray Dalio. Besides the way he invests, I love the way he communicates and teaches. He has a lot of experience, creating the biggest hedge fund in the world, Bridgewater Associates, that also tries to grow employees, being the only hedge fund who hires people directly from school or direct after.

Now back to the topic and what it has to do with leofinance.io. Well, this has to do a lot, as we see that if the community is active, it is also leveraging faster. The best example is the information coming from @leofinance post, that can be read in here.. It would have never had such a good run if only one person would have invested into the pool or only one would have traded.

Also another good example to this piece of advice is the project that had a skyrocket start in the past 2 weeks, @lbi-token, is a good example where people with different backgrounds have put their minds and abilities together to deliver a good investment opportunity for the community. I like this project, because the team has a good performance history with the SPI project and that the skills of the team are widespread. We might call it as a small hedge fund started on leofinance.io.

I will do a small experiment and will track my growth together with the growth of @lbi-token and will compare the growth in percentage and in gross numbers, as both are interesting metrics. Of course I will try to have a higher margin and I know I have a big advantage as I don't have fees and costs.

The community in here is the biggest asset and each individual contributing to the growth of it, contributes to the increase of the whole, even if the step is small, it makes ripples on a large scale. From my personal point of view, leofinance.io will look different in a year from now, being much bigger in terms of users and well known also outside of the crypto world. The future is bright.

I really like your conclusion, I am rather pessimistic in all aspects of life and because of this, when I see a specialist as optimistic, he transfers a little of his optimism to me. Thanks!

I try to be a realist, not pessimist and not an optimist. Doing research based on logic and result. It is good to have both on the side, pessimists and optimists as both have their good perks. For the teams I've been leading at work, I've always tried to have different types of personalities to complement each other.

I like your logic and the way you chose your team. In general, pessimists are not liked by others, I don't like eternal optimists.

Do you have a lazy person on the team?
You know that joke ... Bill Gates gave the hardest problems to the lazy. They always found the easiest way to solve it.

Yes, lazy persons are good, but not the ones that are coming with excuses and blame shifters. This I don't want in team as they are toxic, also I try to avoid conflict seekers.

It is a shame that he lost his son in a car accident.

Sadly, I've seen it today, maybe this is why I reverted to him today. :(

I usually read/hear something from him every week to educate myself. The simplicity of his language is tremendous, reaching the masses in a very special way.

Seems that for now leofinance is having a breath along with the LEO token. Once LEO will start marching again towards $1 the traffic will increase once again at a faster pace.

I would like to see the comparison, and I hope it will be a kind of report in some of your future posts... Maybe they have fees, but also, they will have probably more author rewards, better "back" with more people upvoting their stuff, etc...

Let's see what happens... ;)

I will do it in January with my challenge update (once a month) where I track my progress on my targets for the 12 month period starting 1st of December. :)

In the original SPI project, author rewards were not one of the ways the account looked to make an income.

Upvotes are appreciated, of course. Those of us who write the articles like to see that you took the time to read our words. Also, it helps our work stay visible and helps us reach a bigger audience.

But the fund does not exclusively grow based off of upvotes, you don't grow x5 and buy a whole bitcoin based off of upvotes. Any project whose growth is based on upvotes is simply farming rewards, LBI is so much more than that.

I think 1 plus 1 equals three as well.

Good analogies, enjoyable read.
