Two good questions for the weekend

my friend, @acesontop, asked today two good questions on https://noise.cash/u/acesontop, first was Do you think you have the investor mindset? and the second How much money do you expect to make from crypto this year?. You can find me there on https://noise.cash/u/alexvan.
Why did I pick them for a debate? Because I think that they are correlated.
The investor mindset isn't trained in school. An investor mindset needs a drive behind not schooling. Yes, education is important, but it is not activating the mindset. This has to come from inside. Is this mindset trainable, yes, in most cases it is, but there is the need of the wish to be trained.
An investor with a good mindset has usually a target and a plan to achieve it, so the second question, How much money do you expect to make from crypto this year? is related to that. If you are reading this, probably you have such a target in mind.
I hope that all of you have a high target in mind as we are in a very bullish period where, with the right approach a lot of personal value can be achieved. People see BTC at 100k USD till end of the year. So is BTC cheap now? Probably it is. I would go for the hidden gems and focus on the 10x now and not on the 3x, even if a 300% is tremendous for an investor.
We have so many crypto investing possibilities around, from just hodlig to staking, pooling, curating, posting or even creating art or playing games. The world is changing at a high pace and with the new technologies the old jobs will vanish and other possibilities will open. The thing is to see early on this possibilities. An investor sees the trend in advance, that is why we have Grayscale for example sucking up the BTC and other cryptos from the market. Now they've seen the possibilities and we have the good rally.
A good investors sees now that his crypto can be put to work. I'm not a fan of universal basic income as this will make people lazy. I'm a fan of putting to work the money to generate freedom. This is something else than universal basic income.
Use your crypto on pools if you don't want to put the work in. Put your wLEOs to work. No hustle needed, just have the right mindset and find solutions.
To answer both questions, yes I have and your answer shall not differ if you are in here and I aim 35k € more in crypto this year. This is without the value growth of the crypto that I have, but with all new crypto that is coming in my portfolio this year, either by posting, curating, pools or investing.

I'm kind of in a rough spot starting out the year - so I haven't set any goals. I gotta keep the bar pretty low -
My only target for the moment is just to keep up with a daily splinterlands post.

I don't think I do. I'd like to think I did, but I think it is more of a wish at this point. I will be lucky if I make like $50K in crypto this year. I don't really expect I will get to that point though.

$50K would be amazing! I think this money could be leveraged in so many ways. Hope you achieve them and next year double the amount!
