We all would have missed Hive Stats - Good to have it back

avatar

I'm not sure about others but I personally missed the Hive Stats website. I know I can easily write a small script to query the data directly from the chain and view it but nothing like viewing the data in a graphical format. I guess that is what attracts people. I have always been a great fan of data and stats. Maybe because I started my career in the backend side and still continue to work more on the DB side rather than the front end.

It is so satisfying and motivating to see the data. Especially when it is represented in graphical format or any pictorial representation, it gets even more interesting. I'm glad to have Hive Stats back in action. Due to several issues with Hive nodes, we were unable to see Hive Stats working as expected. Now that we have things settling down after HF24, it is good to have Hive Stats back.

I don't observe my stats too often but mostly towards the end of a month or during the start of a month, I usually check my stats to see how I have performed in the last month. I sometimes just observe and leave it and sometimes write a post on the same. Looks like my Curation APR has been at 15 % levels consistently. I have been doing lots of manual curation mostly on articles from the Project Hope community. That gives good curation rewards. I'm glad to see it maintained in a good value. I guess collectively my rewards are close to 2 - 3$ per day.

I'm not very impressed with my stats in the last two months. Especially with the COVID situation in the family, I couldn't spend enough time online in writing articles as well. I'm glad that things are slowly getting better and compared to October month, I was able to spend more time writing articles and engaging the last month.

There are still a few days where I would have missed writing articles. It still happens and even two days back I couldn't write any article. More than the reward, I have made it a practice to read something every single day and write something every single day. That is one of the reasons why I never miss writing articles. Before I go to bed, I make sure that I had posted at least a minimum of one article per day.

Now it is good to have hivestats.io back to see how our account is performing. Especially in the crypto world, stats are always motivating. The above details from Hivestats display only information regarding my account. There are also other ways to earn here on Hive which includes games like dCity, Rising Star, Splinterlands, etc. So people who would like to build their assets on Hive can also do it in the form of NFTs and tokens from Hive Engine.

Yesterday was Hive Power up day. If you look at the above chart, you would have noticed a sudden pump in the account growth. That's because I powered up 500 Hive yesterday. You can read more on that from my previous article. I also received a badge from hivebuzz.

HiveStats are glorious and providing them for dCity is nice when you are curious on comparing your investment compared to value, to know if you are positive or negative.

Good to see you working again and life happens, just do your best and we will keep being grateful for what you are providing mate!

Yeah true. It helps in understanding about tribe tokens and its value as well. Though we have LeoDex, Hive stats is always handy.
