Postage Stamp - Pro-Children 1956 - Pro infancia. Limoniastrum ifniense - Ifni 1956 - Michel Spanish Ifni 160 - my hobby.

Greetings friends!

Philately and other hobbies associated with collecting can be compared to such sciences as geography, astronomy and oceanography, the purpose of which is to supplement their research with new discoveries and, as a result, eliminate the existence of white spots.

Just as there are no uninteresting stars, mountains, or aquatic organisms, there are also no uninteresting postage stamps, even if they seem boring to you.

I would be a bad collector if I only published articles about postage stamps that are guaranteed to catch your attention.

Sometimes you have to take some losses to get there, lol.

Today I want to present a postage stamp issued by the Spanish crown for walking in territory Ifni.

This is a postage stamp from the colonial era.

Like the previous postage stamp, which you can see below, it is identical.

The same flower is depicted on it Limoniastrum ifniense.

But, the color scale and face value of the postage stamp have changed.

Obviously, they tried to save money when issuing a postage stamp.

Reducing costs and increasing profits, in the old days, during the Ottoman Empire, they were executed for this.

Any product, its value, had to correspond to the costs of its production.

But, here, we see that the price of a postage stamp increased without increasing production costs.

The denomination of this postage stamp has more than tripled to 50 Spanish centimos.

There is one change that we do not see visually, but it led to the fact that, at auctions, taking into account the pumps, the price of this postage stamp is close to two US dollars.

This happened due to the small circulation, only 500,000 copies.

But, if we put aside the desire of those who control the market for postage stamps to buy as much as possible at a low price, then. I am sure this figure needs to be multiplied. at least a few hundred times, perhaps more than a thousand times.

In my collection this postage stamp is in perfect condition, it is uncanceled, and for less than $ 3000, I will not part with it, lol.

Important!

  1. Please note that the cost of shipping postage stamps to other countries can be many times more expensive than the postage stamp itself, approximately $ 5.5.

  2. I see that it is not profitable to purchase one postage stamp if, suddenly, you need to replenish your collection. It is always more profitable to purchase the entire series, and, surplus, to change, or sell.

  3. If you decide to buy a postage stamp online, be careful. sometimes sellers use stock images. But this option is unacceptable. You need to see exactly the product that you are buying.

  4. If you are afraid that the postage stamp sellers will want to deceive you, you are doing the right thing, do not doubt it.

  5. To get started with this hobby, buy a good magnifying glass, tweezers with flat and thin edges and a stockbook for postage stamps, they will come in handy.

  6. When buying postage stamps, pay special attention to the back of the postage stamp. The adhesive layer must not be damaged.

  7. There is such an expression - How many people, so many opinions, this also applies to sellers of postage stamps. Each of them believes that his postage stamp is in perfect condition, but only you yourself can find the perfect postage stamp for yourself.

  8. Sometimes, a small, white scrap of paper with a round stamp on it and a number inscribed in the center circle can be a very valuable postage stamp from the days when postage stamps were not printed.

  9. The cost of a postage stamp is determined by supply and demand, but usually in catalogs you can see the estimated cost of a postage stamp in Pounds Sterling.

  10. In terms of quality, postage stamps can be divided into three groups: used postage stamps that were pasted on and removed from the envelope, canceled postage stamps that were canceled at the post office, by order and sent for sale, and clean, uncanceled postage stamps. As you can imagine, these three types of postage stamps, their conditions, greatly affect their value.

To be continued.

I edited a photo in the program PhotoDirector, which I also installed on my smartphone.

For my publications, I do not use stock photographs, it is fundamentally important for me to use photographs that I have made with my own hands for publication and I can name them - authorial work.

Да, я писал, что они, практически, идентичны. Не подсчитывал. Будет интересно это узнать, когда опубликую последнюю почтовую марку, но, я уже забыл, когда опубликовал первую)) нужно будет записать.
