Greetings friends!

Today, I want to present to you another postage stamp from series Agricultural exhibition, issued in Latvia in 1939.

This postage stamp depicts an apple, which is symbolic from the standpoint of today.

We can say that this is an apple of discord, but at this moment it was already divided between fascist Germany and the Soviet Union.

A piece of apple, called Latvia, went to the followers of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels.

It is easy for us to talk about the mistakes of our ancestors by reading reference books on historical works.

Then, it all looked like one simple word - life.

I drew attention to one, strange moment.

Usually, the circulation of a postage stamp decreases with an increase in the face value of a postage stamp, but here I see an inverse proportion.

If you compare the two postage stamps, you will see that the circulation has grown from 700,000 for the previous postage stamp "Farmer" to 1,100,000 copies of this postage stamp.

In philately there are many moments that break our pride, after all, there are moments that, as it turns out, we do not understand.

Let's take a look at this postage stamp.
