Greetings friends!

Yesterday, we started our tour of #Mongolia, thanks to postage stamps issued in 1981.

These postage stamps depict strange chess pieces that are very different from the chess pieces we are used to.

Imagine that you enter the #Hive-Engine market and want to buy #LEO coins, but instead of a lion you see a platypus logo. Nothing strange, this is a #LEO adapted to the conditions of #Australia, with a local collorite. It costs the same money, the same rules, but this is already a platypus.

This is approximately how a chess player will feel who will try to understand that an infantryman is a pawn, now it is a goat, and a rook, or a castle, has now turned into a cart harnessed to a horse.

We see such a chess piece on another postage stamp from Series Mongolian Chess Pieces.
