Hive witness @leofinance - Oops... I did it again and stepped up on 34th rank
LEO Finance community is burning with growth and we see new features going out into the platform day after day. Uniswap ensures for the wrapped LEO the right marketplace into the world and a convenient way to transact LEO for Ethereum and from there to any crypto of your choosing. LEO Finance makes a mark not only in the Hive blockchain and between the communities from here, but expands into the other blockchains, into DeFi and into a financial space where it earned its place. And with all this growth it is normal for others to put the trust into the community and for the @leofinance witness to climb step after step heading for the top.
LEO Finance community grows and so does the @leofinance witness on HIVE blockchain. We were days ago on 35th place and with some shouting out to the new members we've succeeded to rank up to the 34th place. Not only that but we are quite close to 33th place as well and I am sure that soon we'll leave that behind as well. The economics of this second layer ecosystem are very strong and the exposure is tremendous within the Hive community and as well outside. And with that it is quite normal to grow in all directions and capitalize on that.
For those new to the game and questioning what are HIVE witnesses and why we need them:
“The Hive blockchain requires a set of people to create blocks and uses a consensus mechanism called delegated proof of stake, or DPOS. The community elects 'witnesses' to act as the network's block producers and governance body. There are 20 full-time witnesses, producing a block every 63-second round. A 21st position is shared by the backup witnesses, who are scheduled proportionally to the amount of stake-weighted community approval they have. Good to see new witnesses like @leofinance adding new skill sets and enthusiasm to Hive.
It is important to always have new blood for new ideas and to get rid of the dead wood.
I am also a new witness with these qualities.
Check your witness vote list and make sure you are not voting for dead witnesses.

Yeap, that's something we all been waiting for. Although I am not sure when the next fork will be or what it will bring, the community is expecting more from Hive blockchain in order to enable mass dapps on it.

That is major. A lot of the consensus witnesses have a bunch of legacy votes from people no longer here.
It would be good to alter that.
This is one big piece of the puzzle.

Awareness is the first thing aimed with the @leofinance witness report and secondary for anyone reading it and appreciating this community to vote if didn't already. I know that some simply didn't pay attention or just not considered it, so hearing it again might motivate them to trust @leofinance witness and vote for it.

Good job bringing this up @behiver.
This is crucial that we keep in the forefront of people's minds. Most look at HIVE, see the price, and say it is garbage. What is overlooked is the governance aspect to it. For this reason, we need to keep powering up so each of our input is worth more. It is a crime that Leofinance, with all it did, is not a consensus witness. Alas, this shows we have further to go.
At the same time, many get upset about the proposal system. Here again, we need to power up to make sure that we are seeing proposals funded that help many, not just a few.

Much appreciated for this and I hope that following the @leofinance witness and pushing for new votes from time to time to remember about this objective as well is necessary for the LEO Finance community. New members are coming in, others are coming back seeing the success so we need their trust with the community witness. I barely can wait when some concepts from LEO Finance could be fired up at Hive blockchain level!!!
