I honestly think that would make for a great series. It would bring attention to communities, what they are all about and just an easy reference point. Right now it's a bit crazy on some of them as to what you should post and not.
The other thing that confuses me are the communities on hive itself that have no token but instead are just communities of people interested in a same topic. It almost seems like a double standard which for me still confuses me on why it's setup that way.

Thanks for the encouragement @bitcoinflood; I do plan to turn this into a series... we'll see how it goes. Just posted the second segment; have outlines for another five or so, and then perhaps individual tribes.
As for the duplicates and ambiguity, PART of it had to do with the Steem/Hive split happening right as communities were starting to get traction and then everything got a little messed up.
