In my part of the world, we don't really use the credit card that much, neither in that manner but I get your point.
It all boils down to spending and doing it wisely and judiciously

Sometimes. Here if you are very smart with your money and don't use credit, it can affect you in the future.
It is nearly impossible to find a place to live without using the credit system. Spending wisely and not using credit can lead you to needing a co-signer in the future.
