Ask Leo: Have You Ever Felt Like You Hit The Leo Jackpot?
As I get ready to start doling out the votes for my first every @clflclosers/@tulwave curation contest, I opened my wallet and there it was.
It was the 20,000 LP 1 week delegation so graciously given to me by @onealfa.leo to support my contest.
We all know he is 100% community driven and supporting my idea is within his character. It's only for a week and it is for the benefit of encouraging the 10 winners for 1 weeks worth of votes. But for one brief moment, I felt like a whale. It isn't that I have whale envy but I want to be one so I can do what I like and do it forcefully. And that is Curate!
My first Leo Goal was to EARN $5,000 LP and I reached that with my 2 accounts. (1 for posting & 1 for curating). Then on my way to my 2nd goal of 10,000 LP for curating CubDefi came out and I wanted to participate. So I sold some Leo for it and I'm off the pace. I then wanted to have 20,000 LP by 12/31/2021. That was my goal and for 1 shining moment (or 1 shining week) it is here for me to use for my contest winners.
Now I will be voting with 25,100 LP for our 10 winners. In Addition. @toruk will be lurking and may provide further rewards for posts worthy of Toruk Love. Also, @acesontop threw 50 Leo into the post to push the curation up even more.

So the pressure is on for our inaugural class of winners. That pressure is not to earn but it is their chance to find their voice with a lot of support behind them. 7 Days to state their case to our entire community to get follows, comments, engagement, earn votes and ultimately build their stake.
@leofinance has the reputation of being the most supportive community in crypto. Now we have the chance to prove it once again. I will do my best to raise some funds to do this again next week.

The short answer is: Yes, many times.
The longer version, the more in-depth answer is:
Whale-votes are obviously awesome in terms of instant gratification and increased pending rewards. It's a huge motivation and encouragement boost, but honestly speaking..
I would rather get 10 LEO per day than 50 LEO once per week. The outcome would be more beneficial that way, but a whale-vote is far more than rewards for me. It's a huge token of appreciation and I am grateful for all the support whales and wealthier accounts give me. I am grateful for the support regardless of the stakes behind the upvote though, but a vote from a whale means more than a vote worth 0.1..
It means that the largest investors, the heaviest hitters on the platform supports what I do, likes the idea behind my content or agree with something I have said or done. And that is the real reward for me.
The outcome from those whale votes are also more exposure, a chance to grow your audience and reap more rewards in the future as well. So it's definitely something awesome.

Well said. I've already seen that the winners are creating posts and getting their votes. Hopefully, the small bit of earnings will go towards their stake and pay off over and over for them. I'm going to enjoy the curation part of this contest. It's really fun!

I feel thankful every time I get a whale vote. I hope these people do their best to make content every single day so they make the most of the LEO vote. What do you plan to do if one of them decides to skip a day and your VP is a bit too high?

Feeling like I already am winning at LEO. When I jump over and check the HIVE earnings on my posts, I will admit it would be very hard to get motivated to write another article. A few have done really well, but most of the time - after the curation split its fractions of a HIVE.
In just over a month I have managed to earn 125 LEO and 50 HIVE. That means my LEO earnings are 3x my HIVE earnings and likely growing as most of that HIVE was from my intro post.
Leo is really proving what tokenomics can do!

These delegations relampago are a good way to motivate users to continue growing and form whales, because after the updates that will be implemented in cubdefi and leo finance as the arrival of users was immense, and as the current whales can not cover everyone, this delegation of onealfa is incredible, the goal I have is to achieve 500 LP and gradually increase until I can give 1 LEO as a vote.
