Ask Leo: If You Could Whale Up On One Leo/Hive Token Which Would It Be?
I read a pretty remarkable post yesterday from @empoderat
(https://leofinance.io/@empoderat/my-life-is-changing-so-fast-and-it-s-damn-scary) about becoming a crypto millionaire and it got me thinking.
If I could suddenly be a whale in one of the Hive/Leo tokens which would it be? I'm not talking about being a millionaire per say, just being a whale. Let's say 100,000 tokens.
I'm not someone who understands a lot of tokenomics, I can't even really figure out Cub farming, so I really don't come at this from an analytical perspective. It's just gut feeling.
The choices are pretty much Hive, any hive tribe, Cub and Project Blank. Let me know if I'm leaving out something.
For me, Hive and all tribes except Leo are out. Hive is a great blockchain but onboarding is hard and the base layer right now is pretty lonely if you're new. (or even old like me)
Hive has value and the price will most likely go up in a bull market but it's not my choice.
Cub is intriguing but not for me. I'm not a defi guy but Cub is the first thing that really takes us off the hive blockchain and gives us mass exposure and mass appeal. If I was a trader I might want to be a whale in Cub.
So that brings me to Leo. It just seems like Leo is the "Captain's Chair" for all of this stuff. It has value and you can move from Cub to anything on Hive with ease. It's also the easiest place to earn more tokens. (Well except for the Cub den)
My initial thought is that I'd want to be a whale in Project Blank because it will be the most fun and appeal to a wider range of audiences than any of the others but I don't know how it hooks into Leo.
My guess is that it will be completely independent and we'd all be starting from scratch as far as earning. The airdrop will be great but once we leave the nest I think we are on our own.
We already know that Leo has value and the value of project blank is up in the air at the moment. So while I prefer Project Blank I can't move off of Leo for my choice.

I personally would have to choose LEO. By doing so, I have have indirect participation in Project Blank and CUB. I actually think many of the tokens are great and many are actually connected to various different tribes. There is so much development happening with new tribes and tokens so HIVE would be my 2nd choice.

I would of course say LEO, as they seem to have their "you know what" together. But a second strong contender, would also have to be HIVE due to their being a wider field in which to blog about and the ability to encourage and curate new bloggers. The finance niche is great,but there's so much more out there as well. The last choice would be blank as I have missed out on these new launches in the past due to a shortage of funds. It would be awesome to finally start out as a full-grown Whale for a change! :)

At this time I would be more interested in Leo, Cine and ctp, they seem to me to be more serious projects

I'd go for LEO. Like you, more of a gut feel than anything else. I don't really understand why CUB is worth more but I'm assuming that there would be no CUB without LEO. But then would there be LEO without Hive? Now I'm going down the rabbit hole. I'll leave it there. 😂

I would say LEO - posting to generic HIVE feels like you are shouting into the wind. At least posting here - I feel like I may be read by like minded people who can offer their own insight. Hive is great, but at least for now I am sold on LEO proving that communities can provide real value and potentially higher earning potential than just HIVE blogging.

I am tempted to go with STEM but I'd go with CCC.
I like STEM promoting scientific content. There needs to be a lot more of that especially with the misinformation a lot of "new age" and anti-vaxxers, et al. are spreading.
Being a Creative Coin whale and being able to legitimately call myself an art patron. That would be pretty nice. My late father was a self-employed artist and my sister seemed to get most of the talent passed on to her.
