Guerilla Marketing For Cub That Works!
I run a lot of Marketing experiments and yes, most of them do work. So, it does baffle me a little bit when I read so many posts and discord messages asking how we grow hive.
But I can't do it alone and honestly I don't have a lot of technical understanding of our projects but I know how take advantage of the free and cheap marketing opportunities during this bull market.
Today I was testing over at https://www.theta.tv/invite/42m5 which has been somewhat intriguing to me for a few reasons. But I will focus on "Hot" marketing opps for Hive/Leo/Cub.
If you go onto theta you will notice a small amount of livestreams happening. Most are streamed in multiple locations but I've been hanging out on Theta.tv and the streamers are desperate for attention.
Today I found one where people from DuckDao and Polkalokr were being interviewed. Polkalokr sounds exactly like Cubdefi to me but will launch on Polkadot in Q3 of 2021.
I was able to ask a few questions in the chat and said it sounds similar to what I was already doing on CubDefi.
They said it wasn't but I did get the attention of the host, the interviewee, and the few people in the chat. This type of thing can be done easily on Theta.tv and while it might not seem like a huge opportunity, there are now people out there that have heard of us.
In fact, the streamer could be contacted to interview @khaleelkazi if we wanted to push it. It seemed like there were only 164 viewers on this stream at the time but hey, its something.
The best example of how to run this tactic is Youtube Super Chats. I wrote about that last week and nobody cared so I wont rehash. But it works and it is a way to expose Hive/Leo/Cub to larger audiences for $5 to $100. It's tried, tested and true.
One of my principles for growing Leo has always been to get off Leo and hang out other places. If I had a marketing budget I would scale this and make it pay off for the community.
But since I don't, I cant and won't. But each of us can always hit up Youtube, Theta.Tv, Lbry Livestream & Crypto Reddit to try out his "Hot" marketing tactic. Who knows, it might lead to even better ideas!

Reddit has a growing crypto influence, it is a good strategy that you use, it only takes more hands to make this way of monetizing visible as cub or leofinance is.

You should contact @nathmars and help him with marketing. He's doing great but is always open to new ideas and I think that we should be doing whatever works!

It's an interesting idea to collab on for sure. But just watching streems and spending a little $$ strategically as an individual is helpful. If we had a hive/leo/cub budget it could scale.

It's an interesting tactic and I'm getting better at it. Just have to spend $$ to tip the influencer and formulate a good question.

It's a genius plan @cflclosers! Maybe we can organize such raids as a community to target other Crypto Youtuber's streams. But for starters, we can easily takeover Theta live streams.

Doesn't really have to be raids. It is just watching the streams and tipping the influencer with a quetion like what are your thoughts on the hive.io. Then he/she responds to it and all the viewers see it in the chat. easy stuff but you have to have $5 or so in cash to do it.

Nice strategy 👍 It works really well because these people will def respond to tips. Doing raids help when you want to seek attention of some heavyweight YTber.
