More Youtube Super Chat Cub Marketing

Just a quick reminder about my favorite marketing method for Hive/Leo/Cub which happens to be Youtube Super Chats.

I'll keep posting about this marketing method because it is 100% guaranteed to work and Nobody on Hive/Leo/Cub is utilizing it. I don't have fiat to burn for my experiments too much longer so I'm just trying to get the word out.

Perhaps someone seeking one of the marketing proposals to hive that I don't know too much about ought to take all that marketing money and use a little towards something that works.

But anyway, today I was cruising theta.tv and found a bunch of crypto live streamers. One of them was some guy I never heard of called Crypto Chico. I got in the chat via youtube, flipped him $10 bucks and got a brief look at cub.

Of course he never heard of it which is exactly what I expected. But he has now. That is the point of marketing. At first it will be branding but the more a guy like this with 229K followers and 2000 or so people watching live hears about Cub the more they will begin to remember it.

These crypto influencers go live, wait for people to tip them in Super Chat, talk about whatever the tipper wants them to talk about it and everyone viewing the video and/or chat has to hear about it too.

The thing I want to point out is that I have yet to find a single influencer who has heard of Hive/Leo/Cub. If anything they have heard of the hive blockchain.

So this is what we are up against. But breaking through is easy and foolproof. I don't think Ive ever seen an easier tactic in online marketing since I started in 2007.

If anyone out there has invested or accumulated a single penny in hive/leo/cub and wants to protect that investment, getting off the chain and hitting youtube is how to do it.

My question is if the HIVE block chain they know about is the stock HIVE or us instead? There is a ton of confusion out there about that because of Google and search engines putting the stock higher on the rankings.

It's always the other one. The only "confusion" is from us Hivians. The rest of the world hasn't heard of us. We are the worlds best kept secret and it is frustrating lol.

The biggest issue I see with this is your are spending your money to help the whole community. I would be all for voting, or sending some HIVE/LEO to a fund raiser to support a group to get out there and do this, but it is hard to try to get enough to make it feel like 1 person can make in impact...and not see any direct returns. If I had enough free cash, I would be buying now anyways everything is on sale.

I'm not surprised to hear this at all. There was a post earlier in the week looking at LEO voting I think which showed that the number of accounts involved was in the hundreds.

With all the enthusiasm around LEO it's very easy to think that it's much bigger than it actually is.

It would be great someone in the "know" picked up on your posts and was able to put forward a proposal to have a co-ordinated effort using your tactic supported. I'd definitely vote for it!

It sure would! And is one of the reasons I try to curate new posts regardless of content. it's easier to cultivate our existing customers than to try and get new ones!

The more gorilla marketing that the community does like this, the better.

The only issue I have with this strategy is that it's very short-term and hit + miss.

I watched one of the recordings that you posted in Discord and although I could tell the bloke had zero idea about what he was talking about in the first 2 minutes of speaking, he pretty much just trashed Cub and moved on.

It's harsh to say, but crypto influencers are greedy mercenaries.

They're paid to say whatever you want them to say and will take advantage of you whenever they can.

How many of those YouTube twats we've had on LeoFinance do anything other than milk the rewards pool promoting themselves while cashing out?

Not many.

What I'd love to see is the community encouraging (paying) influencers to post evergreen videos that are purely focused on promoting LeoFinance.

The rewards pool doesn't seem to be enough incentive, so pay them the going rate in cash like you are tipping.

But the content has to be 100% LeoFinance branded around the 'make money blogging' and 'safe defi' keywords just to name a few.

Anyway, that's my 2c on YouTube marketing.
