Why Are We Keeping Hive/Leo Such A Secret?

So a few weeks ago I made a post about how to best market our blockchain using Youtube superchats during Influencer's live streams.

It's super duper effective and I've been spending a tiny bit of cash running some experiments. What I have found is that Hive and Leo are very well kept secrets.

Nobody has heard of us! I've gotten the attention of some targeted influencers who I will not name because that isn't important here. It is just than when I've gotten them to answer what they thought about Hive they have for the most part never heard of it. And they certainly haven't heard of Leo.

Obviously, this isn't everyone but for the people I targeted with between 50 and 100 people watching live, they had no clue about Hive.

I was kidding with one of my crypto friends who is very aware of Hive and Leo but kids me for not really being in crypto quipped that instead of using a hard wallet to protect your keys you could just post your keys on Hive and they would be safe from prying eyes lol.

The whole exercise was disheartening for me because it did make me think that I wasn't really in crypto during this bull run. Had I chosen nearly any other shit coin I would be in profit.

Don't get me wrong, I love what we do here on Hive/Leo it seems that without the Korean exchanges pumping if/when they feel like it, we are literally off the grid.

Crypto Influencers are all the rage right now. Even if they know nothing about anything, they are important to spread the word. It would be nice if they had an opinion one way or another regarding our blockchain.

I'm interested to know your thoughts on this in the comments. How do we get ourselves on the tip of at least a few tongues. How do we grow this thing?

I think individually we need to put in more effort. There is really a lot to be done. I have been having some group discussions with some people, sold the program to them and they seem to be loving it I intend having a kind of business seminar with some other people some time this week. Will publish pictures from the event, I believe it will go well.

Everything happens in cycles. Earning crypto instead of just “investing in” will have it’s moment.

You can take this two ways. One is that we are off grid and going no where , the 2nd is when we connect to the grid this place will explode.

The question is when do we connect to the gird and how does that happen.

And yes watching shitcoins pump while Hive dips is painful. But remember it went 10x in a few months, and leo was half a cent not long ago so its all relative.

The thing that comes to mind is an application. If we throw out CUB or the potential Project Blank as something they can use, then they will naturally learn more about HIVE and LEO. People are not exactly attracted the the block chain itself, but what it can provide to them. So someone who likes Defi would learn about CUB and learn about LEO through the liquidity pools. Someone who wants to microblog can use Project Blank and chat on it while earning money (similar to how noise.cash promoted itself).

What I have found is that Hive and Leo are very well kept secrets.

A secret that is being shouted out by everyone, is not a secret - it's that people aren't listening or interested.

Haha, that is pretty funny about the keys thing. Maybe they should try it first and let us know how it goes! Very interesting that we are not getting more traction yet. There is so much good stuff happening here right now. You would think people would be coming in droves.

I think people are interested in crypto that can 100x - basically buy hold, pray you hit the lottery. Its all about what the project could do. HIVE already exists, and Hive takes work - Unless you just buy HIVE, Stake and either delegate or follow a curation trail you need interaction to earn.

I joined because I wanted to write, and LEO already had like minded people here, looking at content. I tried a blog before, like most, the visitors never really showed up. I think the word needs to get out that more content creators need to join here - and jump the line for eyeballs.

I came here way way back in the old pre split days from an influencer @marketingmonk who was bringing in masses to the chain. I agree we need a few more and I think people will really start to see what HIVE can do for building community and relationships.
