Did you go to settings in metamask wallet and add the binance smart chain? Also you will need to send some bnb smart chain token, not regular bnb to your metamask too. Yeah it was a little tedious at first. I use trust wallet to convert the bnb to bsc (bnb). Metamask is still just your same old eth wallet with upgrade to use bsc!
