Sportbet.one (SBET) Buying The Dip | Weekly Dividend Report
There is no boring week in crypto and the massacre across the board in prices has been quite brutal. The good thing is that it brings opportunities to buy the dip at possibly cheap prices to further cost-average into coins that provide a passive income that will hopefully add up over time.
Buying more SBET
I have been cost-averaging SBET for a while now which I see as a coin with nice growth potential without having a ridiculous high market cap already as many of the others. Their platform is also by far the most useful for me as a sports bettor and I had nothing but good experiences this past year. Since the only place it is trading at is on defis.network against EOS with the devs (who are also accumulating more) providing some liquidity, the price directly moves with what EOS is doing. Since that dropped by 75% these past weeks, it brought the entire market cap valuation of SBET down to below 1 Million.
I did take some of my stable holdings using them to buy 400k more SBET at an average price of 0.00244$ for 1 SBET last night. Right now, I'm sitting at 3M SBET and likely will have enough now. (That's what I felt like when I reached 1M). In case at some point, there is a major pump like what happened with Wink, I plan on using 500k SBET to take some profit.
SBET Dividends
With most of the betting being done in EOS and BTC on the platform, dividends in $ dropped quite a bit but I'm kind of anticipating the users increasing their stake based on the $ value in the coming weeks. (At least that's how I am doing it when betting with crypto). Based on the current crypto prices and the dividends from the last 7 days, SBET now provides a weekly +0.565% passive return.
WINK Dividends
The Windrops now seem to be back in place with the Wink.org website being up and operational again. Aside from the Sportsbook that it which still is not back and has some of my TRX funds still locked in it. Overall, Wink has really been messed up with the DDOS situation and the entire Pump & Dump that happened. I'm glad that I took profit in week 14 (See Table Below) when the price was still at around 1800$ for 1M SBET pretty much setting more than my entire initial investment safe.
Right now, the price pretty much reverted back to where it was after the initial pump on which I also took some profit and it feels like they will have to start building again as Dividends are nowhere near to where they were before the DDOS attacks.
The 21-day moving average chart of the paid dividends looks really bad with the collapse because there were no dividends whatsoever for 12 days in the last 3 weeks.
Zooming out to the 100-day average, there still has been a really nice growth and it will be a matter of not giving it all back.
The dividends compared to the price also look quite horrible at the moment with only 6% of all WIN being staked also.
Right now fundamentally, WIN would never be a buy for me, at the moment, even though I'm willing to hold on the 14M WIN I still have frozen assuming things will pick up again over time.
Personal Gambling Dapp Portfolio
So I did add 400k SBET on the Dip which made the decline in overall paid dividends due to the crypto crash not all that much. I already had a brief look into sportx and their SX token wich I had as a candidate to add to this portfolio but likely won't get into it (aside from 50$ to further test it) as it feels highly overvalued at the oment. I'm currently holding 14M WIN / 3M SBET / 10k TRX / 22 LIVE | 2271 RAKE. I continue to be interested in adding another gambling dapps that pay the losses from the gambler to those holding a token that can't be mined, so if you have one on your radar make sure to let me know...
