The long-awaited Roadmap for Waves 2.0 has been released
For every crypto project it is very important and necessary to always have an updated RoadMap, as not only your community but it is always good is aligned with your goals for the future and so with RoadMap we can follow the progress and development of any design and service.
Waves is one of the main currencies that I have been following your project for a long time. For those who invest outside Hive you should probably know your ecosystem. In the past, the Waves platform launched DeFo, the Decentralized Forex that contains, in addition to the USDN (Neutrino Dollar), several Stablecoins of national currencies such as Euro, Real, Libra and others.
The RoadMap has been expected for a long time by the Waves community for the next few years and Sasha Ivanov, the Waves CEO, was recently announced. Among some novelties, we can see some very interesting things that will come throughout 2021 and also for the next year.
For those who don't know, the Waves platform recently has Swop.fi, an automated market maker (AMM) that allows instant trading between tokens. Basically it is another option for liquidity providers who want to expand their investments and there we can cultivate SWOP, the platform's native token.
With the RoadMap for Waves 2.0 you can see that it has 3 phases and the first one caught my attention because as it is the first objectives of Waves for the next months, it will be something crucial to follow these steps, as we know that even with the unforeseen RoadMap can happen and delays or even postponements can arise.
Gate Tannhauser: a path to liquidity
Some points that I found very interesting were:
- Ethereum interoperability;
We know that the ETH platform is the pioneer and the one that has the most liquidity when it comes to DeFi, one of its problems that I can mention in addition to the high Gas rates is its congested network and the greater the congestion, the more expensive the rates will be. Gas is why many investors are migrating and opting for better networks at more interesting rates.
BSC is one of those options and that’s why CubFinance is in it and although this LeoFinance project is in the beginning, we’re seeing
that your journey will be very successful with the entry of LeoBridge. It will be no different for Waves with the migration of these investors to Swop.fi. A bold US$10 billion TVL target could put Waves among the top in the DeFi market.
- Volatile assets;
Since last year, the Neutrino Protocol had speculated on presenting the platform with a mechanism to tokenize popular assets like Bitcoin and Gold for example. With this collaterization mechanism, it would be possible to integrate any crypto or hundreds of volatile synthetic assets such as TSLA, AMZN, MSFT and others for DeFo.
- External liquidity: Gravity
Now what really interested me was Gravity, imagine that we can bring liquidity from any network to the Waves platform and vice versa? Yes it will be possible, but I would really like that one day we will be able to see bLEO on the Waves and USDN network being an asset for Farm on CubDefi.com. Well ... dreaming doesn't cost anything right?
Interchain DeFi applications, based on the Gravity protocol will export Waves DeFi tokens, such as USDN, to other networks, adding more value to assets. USDN is already present on the ETH and Binance Smart Chain networks, but this is just the beginning
A lot of cool stuff is going to happen in the coming months as we’re seeing on RoadMap. One of the things I miss and that Waves could focus more on was blockchain-based games. It is a market that, as we know, is expanding and the gaming industry is a giant in the world. Nowadays it is very difficult to see any young person disliking games.
At Hive we have a lot of cool and interesting games and others that are still in development. To this day, I wait for Exode and I need to know quickly if there is anything new because it has been a long time that I have not been following. Games and blockchain was a true revolution in this union and one complements the other. Waves could dedicate himself in this area but apparently what I have left is to wait more ...
So the future will be very interesting for Waves and apparently she is not kidding when it comes to embark in the world DeFi once and for all. Its US$10 billion target shows an ambition that I personally believe that one day they will achieve. It will only be a matter of time and maybe it will happen by the end of the year. The future will be fun and exciting. Waves at US$100? We will see...
Para todo projeto crypto é muito importante e necessário que se tenha sempre um RoadMap atualizado, pois não apenas a sua comunidade mas é sempre bom está alinhado com os seus objetivos para o futuro e assim com o RoadMap podemos acompanhar o progresso e o desenvolvimento de qualquer projeto e serviço.
Waves é uma das principais moedas que há muito tempo estou acompanhando seu projeto. Para quem investe fora do Hive provavelmente deve conhecer o seu ecossistema. A plataforma Waves lançou no passado o DeFo, o Forex Descentralizado que contém além do USDN (Neutrino Dollar) diversas Stablecoins de moedas nacionais como Euro, Real, Libra entre outros.
Já era esperado por muito tempo pela comunidade Waves o RoadMap para os próximos anos e recentemente foi anunciado por Sasha Ivanov o CEO da Waves. Dentre algumas novidades, podemos ver algumas coisas bem interessantes que virão ao longo de 2021 e também para o próximo ano.
Para quem não sabe, a plataforma Waves possui recentemente o Swop.fi, um automated market maker (AMM) e que possibilita uma negociação instantânea entre tokens. Basicamente é mais uma opção para os provedores de liquidez que desejam ampliar seus investimentos e por lá podemos cultivar o SWOP o token nativo da plataforma.
Com o RoadMap para Waves 2.0 percebe-se que possui 3 fases e a primeira me chamou muita a atenção pois como se trata dos primeiros objetivos da Waves para os próximos meses, será algo crucial seguir esses passos, pois sabemos que mesmo com o RoadMap imprevistos podem acontecer e atrasos ou até adiamentos podem surgir.
Gate Tannhauser: um caminho para a liquidez
Alguns pontos que achei bem interessante foram:
- Interoperabilidade Ethereum;
Sabemos que a plataforma ETH é a pioneira e a que mais existe liquidez quando se trata de DeFi, um dos seus problemas que posso citar além das altas taxas de Gás é a sua rede congestionada e quanto maior o congestionamento, mais caro serão as taxas de Gás e por isso que muitos investidores estão migrando e optando por redes melhores com taxas mais interessantes.
BSC é uma dessas opções e é por isso que o CubFinance está nela e apesar de que este projeto da LeoFinance está no início, estamos vendo
que sua jornada será de muito sucesso com a entrada da LeoBridge. Para Waves não será diferente com a migração desses investidores para o Swop.fi. Uma meta ousada de $10 bilhões de TVL poderá colocar a Waves entre os primeiros do mercado DeFi.
- Ativos voláteis
Desde o ano passado, o Protocolo Neutrino havia especulado em apresentar para a plataforma um mecanismo para tokenizar ativos populares como Bitcoin e Ouro por exemplo. Com este mecanismo de colaterização, seria possível integrar qualquer crypto ou centenas de ativos sintéticos voláteis como TSLA, AMZN, MSFT entre outros para o DeFo.
- Liquidez externa: Gravity
Agora a que mais me interessou mesmo foi sobre o Gravity, imagine que nós poderemos trazer liquidez de qualquer rede para a plataforma Waves e vice-versa? Sim será possível, mas eu gostaria muito que um dia poderemos ver o bLEO na rede Waves e USDN sendo um ativo para Farm no CubDefi.com. Bem... sonhar não custa nada certo?
Aplicativos Interchain DeFi, baseados no protocolo Gravity exportarão tokens Waves DeFi, como o USDN, para outras redes, agregando mais valor aos ativos. O USDN já está presente nas redes ETH e Binance Smart Chain, mas este é apenas o começo.
Muita coisa legal vai acontecer nos próximos meses como estamos vendo pelo RoadMap. Uma das coisas que sinto falta e que Waves poderia focar mais era sobre os jogos baseado em blockchain. É um mercado que como sabemos está em expansão e a indústria de jogos é gigante no mundo. Hoje em dia é muito difícil ver algum jovem não gostar de jogos.
No Hive temos muitos jogos legais e interessantes e outros que ainda estão em desenvolvimento. Até hoje espero pelo Exode e preciso rapidamente saber se existe alguma novidade pois faz um bom tempo que não estou acompanhando. Jogos e blockchain foi uma verdadeira revolução essa união e um complementa o outro. Waves poderia se dedicar nesta área mas pelo visto o que me resta é esperar mais...
Portanto o futuro será bem interessante para Waves e pelo visto ela não está brincando quando se trata de embarcar de vez no mundo DeFi. Seu alvo de US$10 bilhões mostra uma ambição que pessoalmente acredito que um dia alcançarão. Será apenas questão de tempo e quem sabe pode acontecer até o final do ano. O futuro será divertido e emocionante. Waves a $100? Vamos ver...

I think it will happen naturally. Waves also intends to expand its horizons and also intends to integrate the ETH and BSC networks. LeoFinance is already in both, so it will only be a matter of time.
