The rise in oil only worsens the situation of Brazilians who already have many problems to control

Everyone knows Brazil is known for being a country that has high tax rates, sometimes I am so surprised at how the Brazilian manages to survive (live) with so much tax on practically everything he faces. The tax is on food prices, on services ... it is on everything.

The Covid-19 pandemic is getting worse and worse and it is not the media that is saying this, as I do not waste time seeing or hearing what the press is saying because I know that more than 90% of cases either omit or invent. But from what I'm following in my city, things are much worse.

Since the beginning of social isolation, I have always been afraid of being infected or someone in my family by this virus. Thank goodness last year we survived, but unfortunately many families were not so lucky.

Nowadays I realize that the contamination is increasing because relatives close to me are being contaminated or showing the first symptoms. The day before yesterday my mother told me that my father was not well, he had stomach pains and he did not eat properly. The next day I went to visit him in the morning and on the way I stopped by a gas station and to my surprise, the price of ethanol was R$ 3.99.

I did not believe it, as this would be the fourth price readjustment in the year. The barrel of oil was already costing US $ 67.10 and with this increase it is justified for Petrobrás to have to reflect this for the prices of the gasoline and so it is even left for ethanol, which is the type of fuel I use.

This year 2021 the minimum wage for Brazilian citizens is R$1,100 (US $194.34) and, as you know, this "increase" in wages does not keep up with inflation all year round, it is as if we are still seeing our money decrease even more already that the purchasing power of the real currency is losing value with each passing hour.

When I visited my father, I saw that he looked fine, but last night he was not so well and he was having trouble breathing. It is a very complicated situation because what can we do? I'm glad my parents live in a neighborhood close to my home and I can provide help quickly.

Fortunately today he is much better, but I still think that his problem is not the virus and maybe he felt short of breath due to anxiety. Brazil is currently living in a very delicate situation, Manaus was already showing symptoms that this was going to explode all over the country.

As you know, Brazil is a country of continental extension and it is possible that somewhere people are not aware of the difficulties and problems that Covid-19 is causing. In my city the lockdown has already been decreed. Many places are closed and as a result many families are going to have financial problems.

Now add financial problems and abusive prices on food and now again on fuel prices ... How to survive? For those who need to get around with their car, today analyzing the price of gasoline of R $ 5.49 is as if we could fill the tank only 4x with just a minimum wage. This is a terrible thing.

That is why many Brazilian citizens are looking for ways to earn more than they earn with their minimum wage. I won't go far to mention an example, my wife practically has 3 ways to earn some income, one of which is a signed call center, the other of being a private teacher for three children and the other she does some services for a teacher that she met at school.

Just so that families can stay at home ... Well, they say that March will be the worst month that the country has had in its history and I am already afraid of what will be the next months from now on. May God have mercy on us.

The following months will be a bit hard because we will see the effects of inflation, although in some countries many basic payments are suspended, salaries are also suspended and after the pandemic we will see the strongest impact on the economy.

The economy will be terribly affected and it will really hurt people a lot, especially for those who will lose their jobs.

Brazil will pay dearly in the future if it continues as the economy is.

It is as you say and it is very unfortunate, many companies have gone bankrupt with this pandemic and that translates into higher unemployment, this time has been very uphill for many people.

Yes, it's true ... right here close to home I saw the same place being rented because whoever thought about opening a business in this establishment couldn't stand it and gave up.

I wish you the best of luck and I hope the digital world takes off soon. Prices are going up everywhere and I see no way of solving this easily. The government needs to understand that it is not sustainable and work on a better solution. With automation, more and more people will lose their jobs and these jobs need to be created somewhere. I think the virtual space and crypto is a good way to create a sustainable economy.

Thanks! I also believe that cryptocurrencies are the lifeline for our problems in the world. So we are not held hostage by governments that abuse control.

I feel totally identified with this publication because just like Brazil, the country where I live, Venezuela, also suffers terrible economic problems added to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic. In particular my despair turned into optimism when I started monetizing content in #leofinance and Hive just two months ago, which is generating me significant income in cryptocurrencies without leaving home.

For me this is important because like many, going out on the street to earn my daily bread is a risk I would not want to take because it would mean catching the virus and worse, bringing it home and risking the lives of my family. I hope that someday this nightmare will end, but I feel ready to take on the other problem that is coming: the collapse of the fiduciary model that will result in a horrible inflation worldwide. Greetings and best wishes.

Thanks for the sincere words, Venezuela is a beautiful country and it did not deserve to go through what it is going through, but I hope that one day the political and economic issue out there will be resolved.

I believe it was one of the best things you have done in the last two months that you have been meeting LeoFinance and Hive. Here is the place of opportunities and for your situation it is also a great way to avoid feeling so many reflexes that the country is experiencing.

It is much better you are here because you can choose the time you want to produce your content and the best, without a boss to stress you out.

It's great to see another hiver thriving. Success in your journey and you are very welcome to LeoFinance, a community that makes dreams come true.
