Ocean Planet - positive in negative
Hello everyone who is not indifferent to the fate of crypto games. Today I want to share my thoughts on the rather unpleasant news about the game Oceanplanet. Exactly - two unpleasant news for me.
The first is the forced postponement of the implementation of the use of inventory maps. If you accidentally missed this great post about the upcoming NFT, I suggest you read it. Ukrainian version - Ocean Planet: Опис карток! ENG - Ocean Planet: Cards description!.
The second is that it delayed implementation - abuse (automation of the game process) by players Oceanplanet, which led to a forced, temporary blocking of both the trading process and and the asset withdrawal process.
I admit, I myself have more than once used automation systems in other games, so I can understand what motives motivated players to such actions. The main motive is the desire to earn.
It's one thing when game developers immediately position the game as a tool for earning [Splinterlands, Alien world, R-planet) another thing Oceanplanet.io/game/?ref=cranium), where developers, almost without additional funding, investing their time and money trying to make a really interesting GAME, it is a game and not a tool for earning. At such moments, even the cynic as I, begin to ask a logical question: "Do people really believe that you can earn without punishment - by deceiving others?".
I used to do something similar, but life has given me a few accentuations to help me understand how negative the consequences of such actions can be. Don't think, I don't wish anything bad to anyone at all, I think the first emotions of the game development team were enough for the negative consequences…
And finally, congratulations to everyone involved in the project Oceanplanet with the fact that similar problems with the possibility of system abuse were identified at such an early stage. Yes, it has made adjustments to the course of development, but this is just a drop of what it could be if the game was already much more popular, and to follow such actions would be much more difficult. Good luck to you and patience in your difficult business.

If players using automation to click buttons breaks a game, it must have been poorly designed.
If it saves them time to focus on actual decision making, it should be in the original UI in the first place.
Maybe there are better #hivegames out there.
I think so too!!! Thanks for the comment!

Yep, I will stay away from this one.
This is your choice. But, it seems to me that something very cool should turn out from this game.
