Over the last few months and a bit I have been learning how to trade and what to do in times of crisis like what we are seeing play out right now. The answers are obvious if you take the time to think about it and are prepared to accept guidance.

Looking around everything in the market is getting rekt and bailing out of holds or trades was the smart thing to do moving into the safety of the bigger market cap coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum. Hold as this same thing happened in 2017 with 6 dips so this should have been expected. The alt season has just begun so this is not a bear market and this is great news. Retractions are healthy as come on Bitcoin going from $4000 to $60 000 needs to have some healthy corrections as it cannot just keep climbing.

I think it is only natural to think in USD and not Satoshis which is the biggest mistake I have always been making. If I hadn't of taken cover when I did my holdings would be down by over 20% except I have actually gained some. When the dust settles by treading water maintaining my position the hope is to be possibly 30% stronger against the other alts I would have been holding. Thinking smart and clearly during these times is the only way to stay ahead.

These are earning times that we need to take advantage of and luckily on Hive with the price down 25% in the last 24 hours we benefit by earning more Hive on our posts. We can still grow as our stake is the real power allowing us to continue no matter what.

rice should play no part in thinking long time on Hive or other tribes like Leofinance as everyday you have more and you know next week you will have even more. This is what we do and at some point the value will increase just by the amount you have staked and this is not dependent on price but by how busy you have been. Compounding your growth is why you get ahead no matter what is happening in the markets. If you aren't selling then price plays no part in your thinking and means absolutely nothing.
