Have you ever given thought on EOS Investment?

EOS is one of the newest digital currencies Launched on the 1st of June, 2018, EOS was created by cryptocurrency pioneer Dan Larimer. Before his work on EOS, Larimer founded the digital currency exchange Bitshares as well as the blockchain-based social media platform Steemit. EOS is designed after ethereum like other notable cryptos in space and it offers a platform which enables developers to build decentralized applications.

EOS is notable for many other reasons, though. First, its initial coin offering was one of the longest and most profitable in history, ranking in a record $4 billion or so in investor funds through crowdsourcing efforts over the last two years. EOS offers a delegated proof-of-stake mechanism which it hopes to be able to offer scalability beyond its competitors. EOS consists of EOSIO, similar to the operating system of a computer and acting as the blockchain network for the digital currency, as well as EOS coins. Due to the lack of mining mechanism to produce coin like it is in #Leo and #Hive, EOS is said to be revolutionary. Instead, block producers generate blocks and are rewarded in EOS tokens based on their production rates. EOS includes a complex system of rules to govern this process, with the idea being that the network will ultimately be more democratic and decentralized than those of other cryptocurrencies.

As at about a year ago, EOS had a per-token value of $2.18 while today in 2021, 1 EOS is valued at $2.6 while its market capitalization is at $2.7 billion.

I believe with the above stated facts, you can realise that this token worths investing on as the main purpose of many investors on this blockchain is to earn valuable profit while some regard crypto trading as a better option. More attention is been geared on bitcoin which is almost becoming too expensive to acquire, hence the need for an alternative crypto investment on EOS.

I'm quite excited by the EOS technology, but it's been performing fairly poorly in the markets.

Yes, I have held some EOS, but I decided to sell them 2 or 3 year ago (https://peakd.com/btc/@zuerich/btc-and-altcoins-my-experiences-and-my-standpoint).

I now concentrate on BTC and Hive 😀

That's a very great choice of investment @zuerich. Though i thought of investment diversifications in order not to put my head in one basket. BTC is the overall best choice of investment i cherish most but not every one at my level can afford to invest on btc due to the cost at the moment. I just see EOS as an alternative investment which i think may be affordable by average investors. At the moment I'm working out modalities on how i can also invest in other second layer tokens on the hive blockchain in addition to hive such as Leo tokens, Sports, Stem, ctp and neoxag. It's really nice to have your comment sir😊
