April 18th 2021 - On Days Like These...

If you woke up this morning and saw dark clouds on the horizon, your mood is likely to match the mood in the cryptosphere. Bitcoin again had one of those famous big moves, only this time it went spectacularly south, driving almost everything with it. So, in a way, Bitcoin maximalists got further validation following yesterday’s victory dance over spectacular DOGE dive.

Again, this is nothing that hasn’t happened before and it is certain that it would happen again. Price dives or corrections were inevitable, just as was inevitable that sooner or later all those betting on uninterrupted Bitcoin rise will receive rude awakening.

Bitcoin, of course, never does what it is expected of it. The unusual aspect of this dive is that happened on Sunday. Conventional wisdom and experience were telling that nothing of importance happens during weekends and that such moves are to be expected on Monday morning. Then again, relying on conventional wisdom won’t get you far in cryptosphere and if you relied on conventional wisdom you were unlikely to enter cryptosphere at all.
