Nice summary... Many many many more crypto based platforms around. Like Minds at Ethereum chain. All the alts of Steem/Hive with their own tokens. I thought I had a list somewhere, but cant find it :(

Some others are mentioned in this article, incl APPICS: https://cointelegraph.com/news/social-media-platforms-for-crypto-enthusiasts-talk-and-earn-bitcoin

Here is a piece from this article: https://www.bitrates.com/news/p/five-blockchain-based-social-media-platforms-to-watch-in-2020#:~:text=Those%20platforms%20include%20Steem%2C%20Memo,niche%20appeal%20of%20blockchain%20technology.

These social media platforms are primarily up-and-coming projects. So far, only Hive is available to the general public, and Voice is only available to select beta testers. Society2 and BlueSky do not have any usable products at the moment, and Reddit's Ethereum-based points system appears to be offline for the time being.

In the meantime, there are plenty of other social media platforms that are already active. Those platforms include Steem, Memo.cash, Peepeth, DTube, and Minds. Often, these platforms do not require users to own any cryptocurrency―meaning that they are easy to access despite the niche appeal of blockchain technology.

That's actually one of the biggest criticisms with the space. There needs to be a consolidation of communities in some ways because right now there are so many different options that to an outsider the entire Cryptoverse can be overwhelming.

Agree. And added to that: Too many users push their content to too many platforms, and spend too little time on each platform to become a real community member. Money is driving abusing the systems. When the number of abusers grow, the good ones tend to slow down, or even leave. Eveything spiralling the wrong direction. Ok Ok, some exceptions, some stick around no matter what is happening :)
