The WoW has arrived!

And here they are, the latest acquisition.

I had mentioned about the silver Doge recently. To be frank, it would have made a ton more sense to get the gold one, but the silver one will suffice, for now.

As you can see above, I also bought a Kennedy Half-dollar as well as a Morgan Dollar. Unfortunately, they aren't real government mints. But, to me, silver is silver. It would actually cost me more to obtain legitimate half dollars and whatnot. When I put things in that context, the purchase seemed more like a bargain than not.

Of course, in this round of shopping spree, I decided to pick up a silver item I've been passing over for a while.

It's a silver spinning top! It's made from one ounce of silver. The reason why I have stayed away from it for so long was because its cost was worth 2oz of silver. Yeah, I've finally gone off to the deep end where I am buying things for entertainment. Well, there's a first time for everything.

To my surprise, the top was very balanced and spun like any other. I can appreciate that kind of craftsmanship. It does make the "premium" I paid for seem worth it. Don't know about you, but I was definitely impressed.

I was honestly hesitant at first, but decided to go for it because it looked cool.

Then, it turned out it was pretty cool in action too.

If the top kept spinning forever, I got bad news for you. Guess the reference.

Got a cabinet to flex the collection around?

Let me know when I wake up.

A cabinet? Maybe one day.

I didn't realize that they would make a spinning top. Is that a scratch on the table? It looked out of place so I couldn't help but point it out.

Thanks for showing another interesting way of trading the fiat for a valuable, Silver treasure, Leonis - @enforcer48.

I think that if I retired, one of my activities would be to collect old coins or any object with a metal detector xD hugs my friend!

Hey, been a while. Glad to see you are still collecting. I actually have some real Kennedy and Morgan half’s. Yes you’re better off with the ones you have as your paying for the actual silver and not the perceived collectible value or have to deal with the uppity fiat coin collectors that forget what it was like to have fun collecting Lincoln wheat pennies.

Haha I have never tried to collect the special pennies before.

But yeah, I do plan on getting more silver indefinitely.

Yeah, I used to collect old coins as a hobby. Nothing much, but have a small collection. I may pick it back up again, but from a purely fun way like metal detecting, flea market, and yard sale deals type thing.
