Hive rewards May 2021

The new month has started, so it is time for a new report on my Hive rewards.

Author rewards

Below you can see the author rewards I received since the start of last year. In May I received 52.52 Hive in author rewards. Quite a nice bit more than last month.

Curation rewards

Below you can see the monthly curation rewards from the start of last year. In May I received 40.92 Hive in curation rewards. A reasonably good month.

All in all average progress this month. Unfortunately the price of Hive went down substantially this month (just like the rest of the crypto space), so the $ value of my earnings is down. That however isn't really an issue because I'm not planning to cash out anytime soon.

The value is only important if you do want to cash out. For the moment it is importance to grow your state here on the platform. An increased stake will get you more power, so more curation rewards. This is more or less visible in you curation rewards graph!

That's totally right. My curation reward curve is flattening a bit though. I did delegate a bit more recently, but am also wondering whether it would make sense to use more HP to curate myself. I guess that's a good idea for another post.

For the moment due to having not so much power, I am not delegating anything.
So I have no clue what is the best!
