KuCoin Partners with Poloniex for Marketplace Listing with KCS/USDT Pair

I have been making use of the Publish0x for some time now and I have moved my balance to the KuCoin wallet once. And I am pretty much satisfied with their service. Though I wish they could allow us to swap the pairs from their dashboard as well.

Keeping the kucoin wallet talk aside. I recently learned about their KuCoin token. Though I don't use it personally. I can see some of the people who swap the coins and try to bypass ETH fees, may find the usecase in the KCS.

Recently they are also listed on the Poloniex. The marketplace that is KYC backed and you get to trade a lot of coins on that market. The KCS token with the KCS/USDT pair is now open for the trade in the KuCoin dashboard.

It seems like they want to use the KCS as a gas fee option for the internal transactions. So think of this as a binance like way to deal with the ETH chain and it's growing gas fees. Though in theory this does sound good but it may end up being it's own elephant and people may end up feeding it if it is not regulated properly.

Considering there are more number of users from the ETH ecosystem. I think for those who are keeping their ETH and ETH based tokens at the kuCoin, they can use it for exchanging the pair with USDT and KCS alternatively.

What this means for kuCoin users? I think this means they would be paying a different gas fee from now onwards. How good those fees would and if the system would be beneficial for them. Nobody knows and in due time people will figure out how the marketplace listing works for them to execute the demand of KCS tokens.
