BEING HONEST IN BUISNESS

Good morning friends and I hope you all had a good night rest. Today I will be talking about an honest or truthful business man or woman.

You know honesty is also truthfulness, because a truthful person is an honest person as well.

Therefore, truthfulness is express as a quality that is exhibited by a person who tells the truth at all times even though it may land him or her in trouble.

And I strongly believe that this type of an individual does not cheat or lie or even steal as well.

You can also see the charact6eristics or attributes of an honest person in the following ways;

i. An honest or truthful business man is always standing by the truth and does not cover up evil deeds in a business or organization were he or she is working.

ii. He or she is always straight forward when dealing with people in a business ground and for sure he will be trusted by many in that business organization.

But to remind you that there are some factors that may cause an individual or person to steal or tell lies when doing business with other people, and these may include;

a) Sometimes to cover up an action that was not supposed to have taken place or done.

b) To save place for a promise not kept which might also lead him or her to dishonesty in that business.

But I want to announce to you that for every good work there is a reward. Truthfulness always have its reward and that is why in a business organization, when there is a project that requires honesty, I personally believe that an honest person is not left out of it.

He will always be respected even in his community where he comes from, he will be awarded for his honesty.

There are consequences for not being truthful in your business or community as well, and which may include;

• Lack of trust and integrity in you by your fellow colleagues or community members.

• Everyone will look down on you and I bet you your conscience will give you sleepless nights.

Today I want every one of us to introduce fair play in our business, because if fair play is used in a business you will see truthfulness and reliability in that business.
